Choosing a preschool for our little one was a daunting task. As parents, trust is paramount, and finding a place where we felt truly comfortable entrusting our child's early education was challenging. However, our worries dissolved the moment we stepped into Our Kids Place.
From the warm welcoming staff to the engaging curriculum, this place exceeded all our expectations.
The staff here radiates genuine care and passion for what they do, making it easy to trust them with our daughter. Each day, my daughter eagerly looks forward to going to school, a testament to the nurturing environment provided by the dedicated teachers and staff.
The curriculum at OKP is not only educational but also tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child. It's amazing to see my daughter's excitement as she learns through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Beyond academics, the emphasis on social-emotional development is truly commendable. My daughter has blossomed here, building friendships, gaining confidence, and developing important life skills that will serve her well now and will utilize in the years to come.
In summary, OKP is not just a place where children learn; it's a community where they thrive. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter here, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing, enriching, and trustworthy...
Read moreOur Kids Place... hmm where do I begin? Well I can start by saying this is an amazing school. From the nursery all the way to the after school program. I’ve been a parent involved with this wonderful establishment for over 5 years. I was first introduced to Our Kids Place through their after school program for my 1st grade daughter at the time. During the next couple of years my daughter was able to advance in all her class work and was tutored for any upcoming tests. She attended the summer camp as well which she was able to learn how to swim. But what I looked forward to the most was their spring recital where I was able to watch how much the children have learned throughout the school year. Especially the ballet routines.
Now my 4 year old attends the Rosedale location and is now on her second year. She is in pre-k but it seems like the class curriculum is for a first grader, which to me is an amazing thing. My daughter is able to read words, write her name, and tell me what a hexagon is. She’s learning a lot and at a fast rate too. We love the school so much that even though we moved to the other side of Queens the commute is still worth it all...
I want to thank Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Leslie, Mrs. Peters, Ms. Danielle, Ms. Petra, Ms. Garcia and all of the staff of OKP. You guys are amazing!

Read moreMy son has been attending this daycare/preschool since he was two years old. Initially I was apprehensive about the transition from a home care setting to a structured school type environment at his age, at the time. However, after visiting the school and getting a tour from Ms. Leslie (Educational director) I immediately fell in love with this family owned and run school. My son started at OKP not potty trained and with the toddler friendly toilet and the bathroom regimen for the nursery class, he was trained in no time. The staff is certified, loving, and very hands on. The educationally themed events and extracurricular activities keep the children engaged and stimulated. Not to mention the smart boards that have been implemented in the classrooms. This preschool falls nothing short of providing a well rounded, fun, safe environment for both preschool and school aged children. My son is going to be 4 in a few months and the amount of growth that I've seen both emotionally and academically are a true testament to the type of dedication that the OKP staff give to their students. I would refer any parent here for...
