Park or station? This location should be renamed to avoid confusion. I was originally going to rate this a 5 but I'm knocking it down to a 3 because the trash at the end of the walkway over the Bruckner has really old trash on it. Clean it up already! This is a review of the station. It was very nice. It needs a Citibike Dock though. I was impressed that the emergency gate was card actuated. A nice touch. I always use them when I have my bike. My reviews tend to be bike oriented. I don't own a car but will rent one on vacations. If this perspective interests you. You may want to follow my reviews. Google Maps does not have a keyword for bike or biking. Why is that?

Quite the well-maintained station; figured as such since this is where the 6 train starts and ends in the Bronx. Many different ways to enter into the station via stairs, an elevator, an escalator, and a ramp that will take you right across to the park; and simultaneously, three of those ways are also present in the station to get to and from the platform. There is almost always a 6 train at the terminal, so waiting isn't generally that long. It also has a pretty well-maintained bathroom, which is something I wish more stations had. A lot of busses pass by as well, making this station imo one of the most easily accessible stations in the city.

My favorite place to go running and get away from it all. The park is very well maintained for the most part. They have a dog park and great scenery. The park is huge so it's a great place to go running. There is always an ice cream truck by the track, along with several tennis courts. Love this court and would recommend it to everyone.

MONOPOLY COMPANY IS THE MTA! Been living here for 20 years and Pelham bay mta workers don't do anything to improve the service nor their attitudes. They think they're police! The clerk (not cop) doesn't do anything but I bet is getting a hefty paycheck. The cleaners DO NOT CLEAN! They come out of a government program and are definitely not educated and not fit to cater to people on the train.

The mop is really wet when they mop so people slip when they get on, no one cleans up the station its always dirty FILLED with homeless crazy people who they do not wake and tell them it's the last stop to get them off the train ride they don't even pay for! so becareful! The seats are dirty! They will not clean unless you tell them that it's dirty and not even they'll look at you like it's your job to stand.

It's just a really disgusting station with people who take advantage of the MTAs money. The conductors are ALWAYS LATE with exceptions to some! I totally block out that I even take the train over the weekend! It's like a horrible nightmare ride that we have to take cuz it's the only method of getting...

The 6 train terminal. Decent enough. It has elevators and escalators, but they don't always work. Restaurants and a CVS are nearby. This station directly across from Pelham Bay Park (there is a foot bridge that leads directly into the park, great if you have small children and don't feel comfortable crossing the street with them). There are many buses that pass by this train station including express and bee-line buses from Westchester.

Points of interest are as follows: Bartow-Pell Mansion, City Island (Bus: Bx 29 will drop you in this seafood heaven, Co-op City, Bay Plaza (Bus: BX12 SBS), Orchard Beach (Bx12-SUMMER months only). There are bike/foot paths that lead to City Island, and Orchard...
