PetSmart should hire a person whose job it is to provide coverage for the front desk of grooming and daycare intake at all times. No multitasking. No disappearing in the back. The front desk should never be left unmanned. When I got there a couple was there with their dog, grumbling that they had been waiting too long. From the time I walked up, they'd waited 15 minutes before someone came from the back. When the woman was done taking their dog I called to her, "Hi I'm here to --" and the woman just walked to the back and let the door shut behind her. I was standing at the grooming section, and I find it difficult to believe she did not see or hear me. Another two women were grooming a dog and it was as if they were in front of a one-way mirror (instead of a window) and couldn't see a customer trying to get their attention. I paid $500 for daycare and grooming and I waited 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I existed. The phones kept ringing and no one came to answer them. I even called to see if that would lure someone to the front desk, but nope! A nice gentleman finally came from the front area into the back and assisted me. This is terrible customer service! Having said that, Anthony, the groomer, did a FABULOUS job grooming my dog and he was courteous and professional. The young lady who did my initial intake for daycare was always professional, attentive and kind (unfortunately she was not there today) and it appears the dogs in the hotel are well taken care of. I would take my dog back, but I hope PetSmart hires another staff member to ensure excellent...

They left my dog completely uneven , they cut her in some spots , still is knotted on strands of hair that were left on her even though they shaved her down completely which is what I asked for but the issue is everything else I listed. I paid for a luxury grooming package with the full works and I didnāt even get the bandana/bow I paid for. I really canāt confirm if they brushed her teeth because she has always had some pearly whites and her breath really never has a smell. The package I chose also came with a coupon book I didnāt get that either which really isnāt a problem considering I will not be bringing her back. To top it all off , when dropping her off to the groomer ā Bradley ā he was basically explaining heās the busiest groomer they have because heās so great well if this is the best groomer they have I would definitely be afraid of even using anyone else here. He had also called me to tell me she was ready for pick up and alleged that she was ā biting him ā I donāt want to say this is completely false but when arriving he was still finishing up and she looked completely relaxed just makes me think the only time she maybe nipped at him is when he broke skin one of the multiple times to get his attention when he did so. My dog has never ever been aggressive in any way towards anyone not even groomers so I just found that really hard to believe especially considering the situation as a whole. I waited on what I thought was a line to purchase, but turns out it was the line to make a pet stay reservation and a line for grooming appointments. I stood there a good 15 minutes balancing my purse and a large litter box. The two women at the counter saw me. Not once did either of them tell me I was on the wrong line! The woman who I think was the groomer finished with a customer in front of me and didnāt bother saying, āSomeone will be right with youā. Terrible! The other woman who finished a reservation told me āpurchases are made in the backā, but that was only when I said I need to put the box on the counter because of itās weight. I didnāt complain, but thank God when I went to the right line I got there when I didā¦seven people lined up behind meā¦and there was only one cashier! This Petsmart location is getting two stars from me for the young lady with extremely curly hair who assisted me on the sales floor. She was friendly and professional.
