I went to school at St. Gabriel's from 1970 to '72 - 7th and 8th grade. I remember Mr. Abrami, Fr. Mueller, and Sister Joan. There was a beautiful statue of the Virgin behind the rectory and my cousin and I would bring it flowers every Saturday since we lived on Cleveland Street. I went from St. Gabriel's to St. Michael's on Liberty Ave where I did my high school years. Many memories attached to both schools and all of them wonderful! Thank you to those who made those...

I will always remember Father Wilders ...he was inspirational ... i recall the funeral service the church held for him ...and the community felt his loss ... I remember the Bible he gave me as a young man ... I might have been around 18 or 19 ... so long ago ... but his legacy lives on this Ash Wednesday 2021 !! Rest In Peace...

Her class was the first class to graduate from St. GABRIEL'S and my class was the first to go through from 1st grade to 8th grade to graduate in 1966. Wonderful memories and friendships that...
