We highly recommend Shag to Swag's boarding services! We recently boarded our 2 senior dogs, Wally and Malla, for an 8 day stay with Sid and the experience exceeded our expectations! Our planned sitter canceled on us on short notice, but we feel lucky to have found Sid. She was able to do a meet and greet very quickly, show us her lovely, dog-friendly home and make us feel at ease right away. Sid definitely gives off calming energy and positive vibes and our pups were comfortable with her immediately. Wally and Malla are both on multiple meds for heart conditions and Sid did an amazing job organizing and dispensing their medication multiple times each day to keep up with their schedules. We got daily pictures and videos of our dogs relaxing, playing and getting lots of attention - happy tails were wagging for sure! We joked that we thought they weren't going to want to come home! I can confidently say that Sid is the best dog groomer and sitter you would ever find. I met the owner of the business one day while she was caring for someone else’s dog. She treated the dog with such kindness and love that I immediately knew that it would be safe and reliable for me to leave my pets with her. I am very picky about who I leave my puppies with but she gives me no doubt in my mind that they would be very well cared for. I have used her multiple times and she’s been beyond incredible. She is beyond accommodating, and I can see the joy that pets give her. My puppies are always very happy when they stay there and it feels to me like their second home. It’s truly awesome when you have people like her that pride themselves on their work, and do not make it just about the money. At first, I was close to canceling my trip because it’s hard for me to leave my puppy with someone, but once I came across Sidney profile & met her in person, I felt relieved. She has so much experience working with pets & takes such great care. My puppy loved her house, her care, & the other puppies she took care of. My puppy has learned so much skills & socialization from other pets during his time there. It was a great learning opportunity for my puppy & thanks to sidney he has learned so much. Everyday I received an update with a photo or video that always made my day. My puppy had an absolute blast at her house. All my stress, worries, anxiety went away seeing how happy he was & how much of a great time he had. I am so happy I came across her profile & she will definitely see me again on the next trip.
