Bad experience at this Popeyes – 760 New Lots Ave, Brooklyn
I was here last Monday night, and honestly, the experience was terrible. The guy working there looks like he’s over 50, maybe Bangladeshi or Indian means asian is super rude to customers. Every time I stop by, he’s got an attitude. If you order something that’s not ready, he just ignores you, keeps packing food, and then comes back later like nothing happened.
He talks to people in a really disrespectful way, always saying “excuse me, excuse me” in this rude, irritated tone — like he’s mad that customers are even there. Feels like he thinks he owns the place or something.
Also, I didn’t see any name tag on him, and he wasn’t wearing a hat or cap — which is a basic food safety rule.

Read moreWell first of all I would like to thank the Popeyes Company for opening a location in the east New York area of new lots...I’m sure a lot like myself is very proud.it’s conveniently located and accessible to most residents of the neighborhood.the food is always hot and fresh.the staff are always friendly and polite...my ONLY 2 complaints #1:the constant homeless individuals who are always at the entrance asking for money...it’s very annoying and it hurts the business(I hope your reading mr manager)one time I saw a homeless man came into the store and literally ate out of the garbage...it was so disturbing..#2 I strongly believe the menu price is expensive compared to K.F.C( their closest competitor).A 2-piece chicken with a side and biscuit should not be priced over $8..instead it should be priced in the $5-6 price range..Otherwise I enjoy dinning at the restaurant and watch people and the bus go by...

I guess sometimes they think it's also okay to just tell you a price, charge you and not give you receipt? On two different occasions I even had to request my change because the manager did not feel like opening the cash register to actually hand it over.
The manager does not seem to be the nicest individual and I'm not sure who put the hours up there. They are definitely not a 24hr location. They kick you out by 11pm really. The google hours need to be corrected. That phone number is...
