I've been to this pizza restaurant many times through the years. It's along my route home sometimes... TLDR, This place is a walking health code violation. It's disgusting and unsanitary. The guys who make the pizza don't wash their hands, at least not often, or I've ever seen them. The same guy who handles the pizza often (like 90%) handles the money and credit cards. The "pizza handler" let's call him, should not be allowed to handle food in any restaurant, period. The amount of cross contamination will make your skin crawl; and then he has the nerve to wear a glove on one hand, and still proceeds to touch everything with it; post oven. Why even bother? If you value your health, don't eat here. The pizza isn't bad, if you don't see how it's handled. But once you do, you can't unsee it. Also the place brings in all the locals; this is East New York Brooklyn, New Lots, under the 2 and 3 train, lots of characters here, not a place you want to sit down and eat or...
Read moreVery poor service. I ordered a lasagna and my girlfriend had chicken slice and a order of garlic knots. The pizza was hard and dry and the lasagna was disgusting the meat was over breaded down. The cost of food was $20. When I went to pay using my credit card I saw a check ✔️ on the machine. The owner had walked away from the machine and when he went back he insisted that the payment didn't go thru, no matter that I was saying I saw the check ✔️ mark confirming the payment was good. I said let me check my card but the owner was very rude calling me from across the restaurant with other customers inside. Stating the payment was no good. So I paid again. This is very bad business and extremely disrespectful. Right before this happened to me 1 of the workers blatantly screamed at a elderly woman because she couldn't hear and kept asking for a...
Read moreI had no intentions of going to this location for my first choice of eating but, I am glad I did make the right choice. First this is an authentic Italian pizzeria restaurant. Secondly, the pizza slice is superb, big and delicious. Made with great tasting cheese and Marianna sauce. Thirdly the price for an original slice is $2.75. 🫡 If you are in the neighborhood I recommend this pizzeria.
PS. Will return to get pictures to add to this...
