This the coldest, most unwelcoming Catholic church I have ever had the misfortune to attend. And I DID try to stick it out because of the proximity to my home. It is definitely a beautiful, peaceful church BUT that's it. It's basically a dead church. Nothing happens here. No fellowship. No community outreach. No revivals. No missions. The Monsigneur's sermons tend to be short, to the point and as boring as the day is long. The junior priest's sermons are interesting, thoughtful and relevant, but it's hit and miss if you get him at your Mass. You used to be able to sit with the Eucharist for Adoration in the chapel, but due to budget issues their hours are now severely cut back. How sad is that? Pray for this church. I doubt it will be around...
