Staten Island Day Camp — Attraction in New York

MY CHILDREN AJ AND ANGELINA HAVE BEEN ATTENDING THE SAME CAMP FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS . THE CAMP DID NOT OPEN FOR THE 2013 SUMMER PROGRAM. I HAD ASKED A FEW PARENTS IF THEY HAD A CAMP THEY COULD RECOMMEND AND THEY SAID STATEN ISLAD DAY CAMP AT THE COLLEGE OF STATEN ISLAND. I WAS CONCERNED WITH IT BEING NEW PLACE FOR MY CHILDREN AND I WENT TO THE OFFICE TO LOOK AT THE FACILITY.. I WAS VERY SATISFIED AND ALL OF MY QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED. WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME IS THAT WHEN MY CHILDREN CAME HOME FROM THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP, THEY WERE HAPPY, EXCITED AND TOTALLY THRILLED WITH THE PLACE. THEY HAD EXPRESSED THAT THERE WAS MUCH MORE TO DO AT THIS FACILITY.

I WILL SEND THE KIDS BACK NEXT YEAR AND I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A SUMMER CAMP WITH A SAFE ENVIRONEMENT ,TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF ACTIVITIES AND AN OVERALL WELL ROUNDED PROGRAM. THE STAFF ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL...

This was my son's fourth summer at Staten Island Day Camp. He absolutely loves it. He loves it so much that he always says that he wants to be a counselor there when he is older. He looks forward to camp every year and has made a number of friends that he speaks to throughout the year. Mike and staff plan a wonderful summer of events, activities, sports and theme days! They have state of the art facilities and weather is not a factor. The camp activities take place indoors/outdoor so never hampered by wet or extremely hot weather. As a parent, I cannot say enough about the staff running the camp and the counselors. They are the best. I know that when I drop my son off every morning, that he is in a safe, caring and fun environment. And when I pick him up at the end the day, he has had a great, fun and exhausting day at camp! I truly recommend this camp to anyone.

We appreciate the fun, thoughtful, kindness and care that goes into each and every day and every summer only gets better. This is my son's 3rd year and my younger's 1st year and it is soooo exciting to watch them FLY OUT of bed to read The Camp Calendar and see what the day has in store for them. "What's today's adventure" is the question over breakfast. My little one is now a confident swimmer! With some new friends to boot! And my older son said, "Mom this is the best summer yet!" My head and heart rest easy during the day knowing my kids are having the best camp experience in a caring and nurturing environment.
