The Living Room — Attraction in New York

The Living Room made my wedding day even more special. Wedding planning was initially difficult because my now-husband and I wanted an indoor smaller wedding (30 guests) at a reasonable cost because we had a strict budget. We could not find a place to get married with our families present, until we came upon the Nook, a smaller room in the Living Room venue that charges $250 per hour (minimum 4 hours) and hosts max 30 people. It was exactly what we wanted!

I say that the Living Room went above and beyond because we wanted BOTH our ceremony and reception in the same space, which was challenging to plan in a smaller space like the Nook. But Desiree and Debra truly went above and beyond in decorating the space to make it work. We were able to have space for an altar as well as our sweetheart table, in addition to our 20+ guests. The decorations were top tier, and Desiree and Debra included MORE than what was described in the listed decor package, without charge. The day before my wedding, Desiree told me, "I got you, it's going to be beautiful". And that is the type of certainty that is wonderful to have before your wedding day.

If we had not found the Living Room, I don't know if our wedding ceremony would have been as beautiful because of our limitations for location. I would truly truly recommend the Living Room for weddings, and especially the Nook if you want a micro wedding with less than 30 people. They will...

Just celebrated my daughter’s wedding at The Living Room and couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with the venue and the team behind it. They have two spaces and we used the smaller room (The Nook) and it fit up to 30 people perfectly. Deborah was our point person for the event and she was present and available from the beginning and in the days up to the event. Desiree was the first person I spoke with on the phone when I called to ask about availability and she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and professional in handling all my questions and nervous energy. The venue helped coordinate catering from a local restaurant and the food was delivered on time. The decor that the team prepared was beautiful and helped my daughter and husband feel the class and elegance they were hoping for. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were with the experience.
