I had a hydra-facial done today early afternoon and this was my first time getting a hydra-facial at this specific location. I had hydra-facial done many times in other locations and this location does not do a good job at all. I guess that was my mistake to do this type of facial in a place that mostly does hair. I go to places that only specialize in skincare and I took a chance at this place because of its many reviews but I realized that most of its reviews are about hair. The hydra-facial treatment is a machine that connects to a tube and this tube has a tip that secretes various types of acids and serums and vitamins depending on what step the person operating the hydra-facial machine is up to. Usually its suppose to be step 1 is cleansing and exfoliation (the tip goes on your face long, fast and overlap is about 60 % and the pass over the face with the tip is about 2 passes at least), step 2 is an acid peel (the tip should go all over your face like a feather or in paintbrush pattern), step 3 is vacuum extraction (the tip should be slow and constant and usually only on the T zones but for congested skin can go on all areas of the face), and step 4 intense hydration (the tip should be like a feather first, then dab and hold it). Now I just explained in detail the steps for a correct hydra-facial. So why did they mess up the facial ? Lets see how this spa did it, first she applied a serum to my face, then she put the machine on and then dabbed the tip to my face then she TOOK AWAY THE TIP AND SHE RUBBED THE SECRETIONS THAT CAME OUT FROM THERE WITH HER FINGERS. THEN SHE REPEATED THAT PROCESS THROUGHOUT THE SESSION. SHE ONLY PASSED MY WHOLE FACE ONCE. ONCE. ONCE. Do u understand what I paid 150 dollars for ! I paid 150 dollars for someone to dab once or twice on certain areas on my face multiple times, pull that tip away and then have her rub the serum that came on my face all over. Why have the machine then ?!?! I mean just give me the serums and let me apply it with my fingers because that's all you did for 29 mins and then you passed my whole face with the tip for 1 min. Great use of my money and time. If you think you did the hydra-facial correctly then you should re-educate yourselves and any staff member that gets to use this machine on a customer. Don't do your facials here its not worth it. Go to a place that specializes in skin care. The lady that did my face was nice but the way she did the treatment was not at all the...
Read moreWhere do I start ! I scheduled an appointment Saturday to have my keratin extensions removed as I was due for a new set. I get there after taking a day off of work to have this done and was turned away at the door. I was told “ not enough time was scheduled for me and there’s nothing they could do , but reschedule me for the next day” I should of went with my gut and went else where , pressed for time I ended up going back the following day. The next day was a complete nightmare they had no bond remover or anyone that specialized in removing the extensions. I sat in the chair for hours being reassured that “ everything is ok “ when I asked why it’s taking so long. They ran to the store multiple times to scramble and buy correct supplies needed to remove. Finally after 6 hrs in the chair and a total of 8 frustrated hairdressers they were all out and of course my hair was broken. With no options and vacation days away I went ahead and had them install tape in extensions. The color needed to be matched to my hair color by a simple toner. The stylist toned them a bluish , grey and installed them assuring me the hue would wash out. She placed them very high on my head also , which you can see. Following day I called and asked to speak to owner , no return call.spoke to manger today and told her what happened I was hung up on , I called back asked to speak to owner never received a call back. This place is so unprofessional and the manager is rude. Told me “ since you didn’t get the extensions from us we aren’t responsible for wrong coloring “ what ! Stay away from this place at all costs. They do not care , now I’m out money to buy new extensions cause they RUINED mine and now have them reinstalled by someone who actually knows about the install process. I went Sunday asked for owner to kindly call me back , it’s Tuesday no return call . I’ve included photos of me even going to social media asking her to call me , as I thought mayve the salon hadn’t told her of all the chaos I went through , no I was wrong she can care less. I was somehow blamed ...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLEASE YOUR WALLET AND HAIR WILL...
Read moreUnfortunately I had a terrible experience at this spa. I am traveling to puerto rico for 2 weeks and wanted my nails done. From the moment i walked in I was not greeted, just ignored. When I inquired about services/pricing I was told by a cashier named Mellisa (i think thatbis her name) "that I can go on the internet and check all the services/packages that are offered".... I was in a state of shock and confusion that such a beautiful Spa is represented by very unhappy people. The women then sent me off on a "tour" of the facility. This entire first time experience left me feeling very unwelcomed. I was very upset at this point and left and my sister convinced me to just book a n appointment. When I went back into the Spa I told the cashier Mellisa I did not appreciate how I was treated and how all I wanted to do was book a appointment and talk about what services were offered- her response was very cold . Not once did she say sorry she just stated that I must have not communicated properly. I then finally booked an appointment with Amy who was very nice. Unfortunately my gel manicure completely came off! I only had the gell on for 1 whole day! At this point I will not be a on going customer. I will return to get my nails corrected but I would not recommend this establishment to friends/family. I do not think the owner is fully aware of how her staff is making her beautiful establishment look. Customer service is key and hiring employees that actually enjoy customer service...
