The online ordering platform is flat-out terrible. It’s cluttered, outdated, and designed with zero thought for the customer. They focus on fancy sandwich names, but provide no descriptions of the ingredients underneath. There are no images to help you tell the difference between the many bread options. It’s confusing, overwhelming, and completely unhelpful.

All I wanted was to customize a simple ham sandwich — instead, I had to scroll through a long, poorly organized list that felt like a guessing game. I eventually gave up.

Pros - Bakery/Pastry is phenomenal. Decor and motif very charming. Hard working /overworked staff. Pastries excellent.

Cons- confusing check itemized ingredients on bill-parmigiana not melted or broiled (see photo) and salad items included in salad like the dressing. Menu heavy on Avocado, yet all brown. no soups, no bread cover (1.50 extra).

No kids menu or combos. Burger unfortunately was unappetizing and grey. No fries or ketchup. Fries extra(10$)and not crispy but still tasty, more of a oil poached.

Tried Filoncino Cafe on Forest Ave for the first time and it did not disappoint!

I had their Philly cheesesteak with eggs and pepper jack cheese — the sandwich was amazing! The bread was so soft, and the portion was huge (easily enough for two people). It didn’t taste like processed food at all, more like a fresh, homemade meal.

They also have bakery items that are worth trying. I had the donut filled with chocolate and the cannoli donut — both were delicious!
