I am so glad I read the reviews and decided to come here. I literally got everything I needed to get done. I had to use both UPS and USPS but I was so grateful that both did not have too long a wait on their lines. Even though my order was complex (passport photo, passport renewal paperwork printout, DMV paperwork printout, bank statement printout, shipping shoes and book to friend, buying box and shipping labels). Julian really knew how to read the room. When he saw that I was signing the forms and waiting to get my photo done, he let me wait while he got other customers with smaller orders/tasks taken care of. Then in between those customers he took care of the second task, which was to pay for everything, pack the shoes and book, and print both shipping labels needed while weighing both orders. He was patient and kind. Everyone wore masks in the store too (except two customers but they were tall guys and looked like they would cause a scene if they asked them to leave). But anyways I got the photo taken by his co worker who specialized in that and then I was able to take my passport application to the post office down the street to get it shipped out. I am so glad I finally took care of several things I needed to get done. This is indeed an essential service and I am glad that this location is simply the best in customer service. Read moreHorrible nasty SHADY people. I received a "Sorry we missed you" note on my door with instructions to pickup my package at the Cross Bay location. I gave them the slip, and signed for my package. After a few minutes the guy brought my tv to the counter, with the front facing back. I didn't think much of it. I had my son pick it up to carry it the car.....As soon as he piled it up, I saw the front of the box, and there was a HUGE GOUGED in the front of the box, 6" long, by 4" tall, and 2+" deep, enough to touch the front of the TV screen! I told them I didn't want to accept delivery on a damaged TV. If it were clothing or a comforter it would be fine, but since it was Electronics I would not accept delivery. Beat the TV back on the counter. I told them I wanted a receipt to prove I gave the TV back. I was denied my request. I asked why they said "We don't do that, this is NOT UPS. This is ONLY a package holding facility". "WE DO "NOT WORK FOR UPS". Real nice. It SAYS UPS on EVERYTHING . The employees ARE wearing UPS shirts, but once something goes wrong they are NOT UPS!
I said I already signed that I received the package I am NOT taking the TV because the boxes damaged since I already signed it out I wanted proof to show that I gave it back. They wouldn't do it. They just kept saying they're not UPS they don't work for UPS.

Read moreI received exceptional service yesterday from two staff members, I cannot recall the female's name but Faraz was awesome! He took the time to assist and that goes along way in these times and it goes way past that.
Now the following has absolutely nothing to do with him just the pricing the owner bases his services on. I needed to print labels on bottles for a small business that is not a franchise such as his. This UPS store was charging $4 dollars a sheet in which I had over 300+ sheets, whilst I brung in my own avery labels. The total came out between $600-$1000+
(There goes the "looking out for small business owners motto, eh")
Staples and a proprietary printing service charged 90 cents and less per sheet!!
I highly recommend logical people to compare prices before coming to this store and dealing with a mad man who creates prices on the fly. I've also compared other UPS stores and notice prices vary up and down but this one leans a little bit higher, and I'd assume based on the location it is in - Howard Beach.
Shame on the owner for this service and teachings he pushes...
