Vivid Nail Salon — Attraction in New York

ABSOLUTE TRASH. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The only male nail tech in the salon (wears black circular glasses) worked on my fill-in set. I showed him a picture from Pinterest of the exact nail design I wanted. At first, I thought he knew what he was doing—but I was wrong.

When my nails finished drying, I looked and saw they didn’t match the design at all. I calmly told him I wasn’t satisfied, and he asked, “How can I fix them?” I replied, “You’d have to paint them over.”

Instead of doing that, he started aggressively filing my nails and hurt me multiple times. I told him he was hurting me and even pulled my hands away. That’s when I said, “I’m not satisfied with this—do you have someone else here who knows how to do nail designs?” I even pointed to the exact picture I had shown him from Pinterest.

Then he suddenly took a picture of my nails, handed it to another tech, and they started speaking in their language. After that, he dusted his hands off and told me, “You can go. It’s free. Just don’t come back.”

I calmly responded, “Very well. You’ll never see me here again. You don’t know how to do nails.” Then I walked out.

I was never rude, disrespectful, or loud. I simply wanted my my nails to look beautiful. Instead, I was treated poorly just for voicing my concerns.

Do not waste your time or money here. There are plenty of other salons that will treat you with respect and deliver quality service. This...

A great nail salon. I was soo happy when the nail tech knew how to do the design I wanted. Especially when I literally walked out of 4 other salons for the lack of knowledge or the want to try and do it.
