Newport Dog Park — Attraction in Newport

I use this park because it's only a short walk from my apartment and it's always been neat and tidy. It's relatively small, but there's plenty of room to run around. The water fountain is a useful feature, as others have mentioned. There are probably 4-6 other dogs there at once on an average day, which is fine for a park of this size. No dedicated parking lot, but I've never had trouble finding parking on the street right beside the park fence.

I might take my dog to Armleder Park if I really want to spoil her and/or wear her out, but this one does the trick most...

Nice little dog park tucked into the corner of 4th street and Linden Ave of Newport.

It has a little watering hole you can refill yourself for the pups. It is mostly dirt from the entrance to the edges of the park where all the dogs roam, so don't wear nice clothes.

It isn't a huge dog park which is great if your dog takes the forst 10 mins to sniff like mine. If you're new to the area like me it took me a bit to figure out where to go, lol. My dog loved it. We tried to get there early enough that it wouldn't be too hot but she didn't last more than 20 minutes.
