This place has been my favorite restaurant for 20 years. I live about 40 minutes away but this is the place my family and I always come for special occasions especially my birthday which is in Nov 3. So Sunday the 3rd of Nov I got off work just in time to rally my family together and make to to Buckhead to celebrate my Birthday around 8:53p and mind you my husband did call ahead. 1st they tried to sit us at a 6 top table and added a chair and they only had 5 tables with customers in the entire restaurant being used. The rest of the tables were empty. I told the host that we needed a bigger table and she said we would have to wait, so we waiting about 20 mins. They could have easily pulled two tables together but we went out side and took pictures and brushed it off. When we were sat, it was at the lower level in the middle round table. We had an elder couple on one side at a booth by the window and 3 younger people at a table on the other side. Shortly after receiving our appetizers of 4 cheeseborders. The elder couple left and I still had not received my drink or any rolls. Then we ordered and I received my drink and rolls. After eating a roll and enjoying family talk, my 8 yr old seen a mouse run. I said something to the server and he said they were going to set a trap to catch it after closing. I was disappointed but my husband was already upset with the service on my birthday. I didn't want to get up and walk bc I really wanted to enjoy our time together for my Birthday, nothing was going to be open, it was already late, we drove 40 mins and i wanted to spend time with my family. So we received our meal and I look over and I see the mouse sitting on the seat at the booth the elder couple was at and I asked to see a manager. Ben came to the table and said yeah we have a few and walked away like no big deal. He did asked if i wanted to move. I said are they any in other areas of the restaurantand he said probably and i said well whats the point. At this point I am asking my kids to not look behind me and say anything. I took a couple bits of my food and I was so sick of the thoughts. I just sat there and the next thing I know a mouse jumped on my leg. I scream and my entire family jumps up. We walk up the stairs to the Manger to pay and I look down and there is 20 mice running around like it was there play ground. My family of 7 just made a good anount of noise and they were not scared. They were jumping onto the seats and running around like it was a play ground. I couldnt believe my eyes. I said to Ben you have a major infestation. He said yeah well we cant do anything about the weather changing and them coming in. I said yeah there is. You need to call Professionals to come in, shut down until the problem is fixed because this is unprofessional and a health Hazard. There was food all over the floors and i said that is not helping. 100% think they were running around under our table because there was so much food on the floors. We paid 73.70. Ben said he only charged us drinks and Appetizers but that seems high and we didnt even get to eat or did i drink more than 3 sips out of my drink. I am so sad this happen. We will never be back. I will forever miss the cheese bolders and Fillet steak. I put a 3 star for food because its not ok to have mice and we all know they go where the...
Read moreSo,first time eating here.Love the way the place is set up, with the country vibe. We sat down at the bar first, waiting on our friends to show up.They had reservations for all of us.The bartenders was very nice and quick to take our drink orders. So we get seated at our table we order. The waitress was polite and friendly good personality. So we get our food, and this is when it gets kinda not so good yes they was busy. But after we received our food she did not make it back to see if our food came out good or to our liking. My wife's food was good she liked it and my friends wife's food was also good. But me and my buddy order the Rib eye steaks. Well I eat my steak rare or medium rare my buddy ordered his done but not burnt. My steak was still Okey but not they way I ordered it my friends steak was literally charcoal. We did not get to say anything until she finally came back and by that time we was almost done. He did not eat his steak only took a few bites of it.So when he explains to her that the steak was way over cooked and was not good she went, and told the manager far as we know. But the response she came back with was not what we expected. We was already pretty much done she did over fir them to remake but,we was already done. And had some where else we was going. So he did say ill just feed it to my dog.But my point is the manager never came over to the table or anything for that matter and because he said he would just feed it to his dog.She said he would still be charged for it.Not that we was not trying to pay or anything but commen courtesy would have been appreciated. Yes we will be back again because we did like the place and we do recommend going here just saying so much just...

I celebrated my birthday at Buckhead Mountain Grill during a trip to Newport and Cincinnati, and overall, it was a memorable experience!
First off, the restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking, including a free lot and an adjacent garage. As I walked in, I did hear some employees using profanity in the back, likely on a smoke break, but it didn’t bother me.
My server was fantastic, though there was a mix-up with my order. I requested boneless wings but received traditional ones instead. Not a huge deal, just a bit messier than I prefer! The menu is extensive, and I was excited to try the appetizer sampler, which included fried green tomatoes, wings, and cheese boulders. All were tasty, though I was hoping for a more mind-blowing experience with the cheese boulders based on the description.
For my main course, I had the sizzling fajitas, and my friend ordered the Buckhead burger. Both dishes were good, but again, not quite mind-blowing. The service was top-notch—my drink was always full, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We arrived around 4:30 PM and managed to beat the crowd that rolled in at 5:30.
To top off my birthday celebration, they surprised me with a piece of cake and ice cream with a candle—such a nice touch! Our total was $86 for a burger, appetizer sampler, fajitas, and drinks, which felt a bit on the pricey side, but it was worth it for the overall experience.
I’d definitely recommend Buckhead Mountain Grill for a fun dining experience!
