Newport Skatepark-Under The Bridge — Attraction in Newport

This skatepark is horrible. The locals are very rude as well. If your not using the right stuff for this park they will complain and make you feel uncomfortable. Also if your not from the cinci area they tell you to leave. The skatepark is very dusty and dirty. There is trash everywhere. You cant get any grip and your tires / wheels slide. in the short time i was there i saw many people slide and eat it, crash, slide and hurt them selves. If you plan on coming to this park dont bother. more than 60% of the coping is gone or damaged or in need of massive repair. I wouldn't suggest anyone...

Great skatepark, very unique and a cool homemade feel. The ground is pretty slippery and it’s more of an intermediate park, but it’s a beautiful place, the graffiti really adds to it making it a fun place, plus it’s pretty much indoor, a good spot when it’s raining it’s mostly all covered. The wooden half pipe i’ve seen talked about in other reviews is no longer there, just thought i should say that, and i went at a time where there was no one else there so i can’t speak for the locals and how they treat others, but i don’t think it should be too bad. Cool place, my kids really enjoyed it, also being under the highway it stays cool all day. I do think it could be updated in some areas, I wouldn't mind helping I just don't have the funds to put into it but it would be nice to get a group together and meet every 2 weeks to do little touch up here and there but definitely something for everyone skate, bike or...
