Immersive Gamebox - Newport on the Levee, Newport — Attraction in Newport

This seems like a fun concept, but if there is any issue, the customer support is nonexistent. When I called into the Newport location two days before arriving, there was only an automated message during regular operating hours that encourages you to text or leave a VM. I texted 8 times between 7:48PM and 12:00PM the following day and did not receive a response. Their national “help” email is ridiculous. While trying to find the email address, there were zero positive experiences posted by anyone who had the unfortunate need to reach out to them. Just, yikes. There are so many more fun experiences with helpful staff in the Cincinnati area. I would highly recommend you skip this place! Check out The Escape Game and OTR Funplex instead.

We played the floor is lava and the game was really fun! One thing that could have been smoother is either making color of playable characters orange and red more contrast or not making color orange and red go together because it took us a while to figure out the location our characters need to go to is swapped.

We also played Ghostbusters and the game was really cool as well, pretty rich in game mechanics and puzzles. This may sound complex but I think fighting bosses need more mechanics to make the fight more interesting. I have ideas like making the boss duplicate itself and we need to shoot the right one, or one player shoots the boss's weakness and the other player distracts the boss, or interrupt the boss's charging attack by hitting glowing weak points. Overall, the puzzle elements of these games are really fun and I'm looking forward...

We held a youth birthday party here and it was a great experience. I highly recommend Immersive Gamebox. Easy to work with, economical for a birthday party these days, and the kids had a blast. Parents were able to socialize with one another and enjoy a Friday evening because Evie and Logan with Immersive took care of everything. They did a wonderful, wonderful job managing the timeframes throughout the event, keeping the kids entertained, very hospitable and accommodating. The manager or owner, Tyler, answered all my questions in advance. From pizza to decorations to providing the cupcakes, it was perfect for us and set a scene where we could just 'show up' and Evie and Logan handled the rest. The kids...
