We had a great weekend here! First of all, everything was so well spelled out for us, there was no confusion about where to go, what to do, or who to contact. It made that initial confusion of vacation on the first day non-existent meaning we could relax from the second we got there.
The church steeple suite was wonderful. One room was the bedroom and included a king size bed, a small closet and a dresser, a TV, mini fridge, and a coffee maker. The other room included a table for two for breakfast, a couch/day bed, and whirlpool tub, and a (separate room) bathroom with a roomy walk-in shower.
We ordered the charcuterie and wine as part of our initial order with the room and it did not disappoint! It was a welcome, quick dinner after a day of driving! We also got two days worth of breakfast while we were there. The breakfast burrito was amazing especially if you are more into a savory breakfast. We also got the pancakes (with cinnamon apples) and Banana stuffed french toast while we were there both of which were unlike anything we've ever had. Absolutely amazing!
The staff were all incredibly friendly and so easy to work with. I've always been afraid to go to a bed and breakfast as someone who doesn't do well meeting new people, but we rarely ran into anyone else and the staff was there when we needed them, and taking care of things completely out of sight the rest of the time. They even got us into our room early!
If you are visiting for a relaxing week or weekend like we were, we absolutely recommend spending some time walking around the shopping area in town. The Pretzel Place was great and there were a few delicious looking pizza places we didn't get to try (plus many other restaurants and shops!)
We will recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone we know and we hope to have a chance to...
Read moreThe Weller Haus.... Where do I begin! Everything about this place is just absolutely marvelous. We arrived and explored the gardens before going to our room. The gardens are stunning, with beautiful landscaping, flowers, and a koi pond. There are tables all set up and several propane fire tables. Additionally, a covered lounge area with a big gas fireplace. We went up to our room (Church Steeple), and just were blown away by the details and thoughtfulness. We received complimentary cookies (they were AMAZING), and then we explored the rooms. The king bed was very comfortable, and the fridge had some bottled water and our charcuterie board which we ordered as an add on (this was just absolutely amazing!!!). In the other room was an adorable day bed, jacuzzi tub, and a fireplace.
Every detail in the room, from the breakfast table decor to the little basket with chapstick, bubble bath, etc was so thought out!
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we explored the guest kitchen. It was very neat with a fridge of water / pop, kuerigs, and some small snacks.
The best part, breakfast - it was phenomenal. You can pick between several options and everything we received was filling and just wonderful.
I truly have nothing but good things to say about this place... If you are considering going here, just do it!! It's worth...
Read moreWeller Haus is a beautiful downtown cottage in the Northern Kentucky/Ohio area. My husband and I stayed in their enchanting garden room and enjoyed amazing complementary homemade breakfast. Their menu, their app, their staff, and their venue are all incredibly enchanting.
The perks of choosing this little B&B hotel weren't all available to us during this Coronavirus ruled time, but we still had lots of options available. The reviews on cleanliness are no joke. They're taking health and safety as seriously as they can.
The only issue I had with the venue was parking availability, but that may not be an issue for others and might be remedied in the future. We were nervous about our rental car being damaged, but we made it out okay.
Regardless, my husband and I had a wonderful time and I was able to treat him to a few adorable gifts for a late fifth anniversary gift during our weekend stay.
He came into the room with roses on the floor, spelling out an inside joke, they delivered a chocolate bouquet, a deli platter, and some celebratory wine (assuring no contact).
Thank you so much, Leanne et al. I wish I could have written a longer review on your website. I wish you and your mystical Weller Haus staff wealth, continuous happiness and progress, and good...
