A great little spot with an excellent view of beach. It would have been easier to note and know that the lighthouse facility was all boarded up and appeared to be entirely inaccessible.

Regardless of that the walk around and access points provided an excellent view of the jetty the bridge and the ocean and that was the entirety of stopping to view. The only complaint I can say is that there were large amounts of dog food that looks to be there to feed wildlife and being that it had rained recently. Multiple large 2-3 pound piles of mush that had started developing an odor and...

A must stop at spot if you love history, lighthouses or simply wish to learn a little about the local culture too. Amazing views, nice self guided tour, interesting video about the history of the lighthouse down in the basement with semi-comfortable seating. Outside the light house is surrounded by raspberry and black berry bushes and beautiful Oregon coastal plant life. The views of the surrounding area from the top are amazing too! If you have the time take a swing by and donate as you can as it does help to keep up this wonderful piece of...

Not much funding/work goes into this park, unfortunately. It's become like a major highway with the amount of local traffic that speeds through over the posted speed limits at all hours (surprised no one hasn't been seriously injured). The bathroom has black mold everywhere. I had to pry the main bathroom door open for a lady who had been trapped inside the bathroom for over 30 minutes. Dog excrement all over grounds. Great view, though & looks like a couple of new wood picnic tables installed. Historic light house is interesting to walk through...

We "discovered" this great beach by accident, turning right instead of left before crossing the bridge. I'm so glad we decided to stop and explore. The beach had some great dunes for the boys to run up and down and plenty of washed up treasures to explore. We spent about an hour here walking and exploring and would recommend this beach to anyone who wants to try something new. We will certainly be back to walk the length of the beach down to the bay. Be aware there are stairs and a little steep incline, so not disabled friendly access. Otherwise very fun!

Such a beautiful location. The lighthouse has been kept up nicely. Definitely brings you back in time. I believe that it is volunteers who are on site should you have any questions. You can not go up to the light but you can walk through the 2 floors of living space that gives you an ideas of the time period when people lived on site. There is a garden on site but it has not been kept up at this time. Restrooms on site is a good thing. It is in a park like setting that you can walk to from town or to the bay.

I have always loved this lighthouse. Since my youth this was always a fun place to visit. The ghost story was always a ton of fun. What's changed? No more access to the basement or the actual light. The gift shop is gone. The house is in desperate need of some tlc. The paint is suffering. But, it still holds all the imagination and fun wonderful things that have made this a life long go to spot. Beautiful places to take photos. Great picnic areas.
