The Face Shop Nile H-mart — Attraction in Niles Township

Update 5/2025 The Face Shop is the best place to get excellent quality Korean skin care, cosmetics, perfumes and body lotions! The friendly owner Kyung is very nice and is always helpful to make sure you select the right items for your type skin.

They have a huge variety of great skincare lines to fit all skin types! The product is potent so you don’t need a lot. Most products pump the exact right amount you’ll need so there is no guess work! Most are all natural and smell amazingly clean! I’ve been coming here for the last 15 years and every product I ever purchased always improved my changing skin and kept it blemish free. My skin feels soft not dry and moisturized nicely!

I’m fair skinned and burn easily in the sun. I love the Yehwahdam bb cushion SPF 50. It goes on smooth, excellent coverage, doesn’t clog your pores and looks natural. Your face will never burn even with direct sun all day!

The perfumes are very nice too. They are actual perfume a d have long lasting wear! They change scents all the time and I love that they are little bottles and great for traveling.

The Face Shop is my one stop shop for all my skincare needs. It’s inside the Hmart along side the other shops. I’ve been coming here for close to 10 years. All the cosmetics and skin care products are top quality and good for all skin types including sensitive skin. Emily is always very friendly and happy to help me with selecting the right products. She’s very good at identifying what you need depending on the season and adjusting products according to your skin. She always give nice take away samples of new products for you to try. That is beneficial so you know if that product will work for you or not vs. buying and not being happy with results. Honestly, every product I’ve used has never given me any issues! I love the CC SPF 50+ face makeup cushion! All products are luxurious and concentrated so you don’t need to use much. They also have nice items for men’s skincare too. I love this store and specifically this location! Great skincare at very good prices! ———————-

What is there not to love about this store! I’ve been coming here for 5 years and I get all my skincare and cosmetics from them. The 2 ladies that work here are always so good about recommending creams etc... they are super knowledgeable and care that you get the right products for your individual skin type! The bottles and tubes the products are in hold a lot of product so you are not just paying for all packaging and a little bit of product. I usually get about 9 to 12 months use worth of product in each jar/tube. They always give you great quality samples to try out too. They take their time with you and always make sure you get your bonus points! Hands down the best cosmetic store and your one stop shop for beauty! Worth the 30 mile trip I take once a year...

The first time I was here is about 4 years before I have money to buy expensive things. There was a Korean lady following my friend and I everywhere we go as we were going to steal ssomething. She obviously was woekknw but she did not let us touch anything there, we got intimidating and left with the thought that they only serve people who have money to buy stuff. I was so intimidated that I wouldn't look at this place every time I passed by after grocery shopping. The second time I went to this place was today after grocery shopping at H-mart. I really want to try some Korean products so I bought couple products with some pressure(maybe she was rushing to close). The most horrible thing that I've found out is that all of the products from this shop are almost 50% more expensive than the retail price online. For this reason, I took the recipe to check is the due date for refund. BHowever; I just realized that there's NO REFUND!!! I thought she should at least acknowledge me at the registere. What a disappointing experience. I would NOT recommend anyone to buy...

I was in the store late afternoon Sunday 3/2 and the lady/owner was very nice and helpful. I was looking for a Korean face cream to try and she spent the time showing the different types and helped me to pick the best one for my skin (I'm blonde with normal but slightly sensitive skin). I was also interested in some eye make up and she helped me pick a black eye liner and gray-brown eye brow pencil and eye brow shadow set. She was very friendly and gave me some free samples. I love all my products and my skin feels better after a few days and these are the best eye brow products I've ever tried and there are many of them out there.
