Nisswa Community Center — Attraction in Nisswa

It was a great place for hosting Thanksgiving. It had toys for young kids to get their energy out and plenty of space for the tables and chairs they have provided. The chairs are not the typical metal folding chairs, but more comfortable plastic/metal folding chairs. There were plenty of dishes and silverware, which clean very quickly in the industrial dishwasher. The coat room was spacious and the bathrooms were clean and large enough for a big group. It would have been great in the summer, as there is a really nice playground just outside, but a snowstorm had just come for us. Overall I'm glad my brother and sister in law picked such a nice facility for hosting...

VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE!! I visited on 8/28/24, as I had business to handle in the area. I watched as the park was used continuously throughout the day by MANY FAMILIES. They have lots to entertainment options such as, a big playground, picnic tables, public restrooms to utilize, pickle ball, baseball fields, a hockey rink… for those cold winter days, and a COMMUNITY EVENT CENTER that can be utilized for those special occasions. If you’re ever in the area, I HIGHLY SUGGEST for you to stop by and check it out! This is a must STOP area if you have your family along and need a space for the kids to burn off some...
