Northern Gifts & Sweets — Restaurant in Nisswa

This place is better than the old one that was here but I don’t love it. It is a hard layout and gets very cramped and bottlenecks in certain places. This store is not accessibility friendly. The concept is great but I don’t think they really pulled it off. The merchandise is very tacky. Most of the clothing references drinking/getting drunk while the other part of the store is candy and toys for little kids. I understand humor but this was not tasteful. Also the back the firefighter flag wooden sign things they have do not make any sense in this store and what even does that mean (this is a side note but I did not realize there are people out there actively hating the fire department and trying to kill them). So that was a bit of a turn off but whatever. I will give them credit for having a pretty good candy selection but the other merchandise is not giving what the rest of the store gives. Northern Gifts and Sweets has many great items. The salt water taffy is delicious. So many items are made in house, so great to see unique items. I got a set of coasters and really have enjoyed them. The cups are great and fun! Can't wait for...
