We are frequent shoppers a Lundrigams for over 20 years and frankly have pretty much put up with the rudeness of the 2 older women clerks for a long time now, so I hope the owners of the business takes this seriously. Often we purchase off the regular main floor racks and often in the discounted area for items we like to just leave at the lake cabin so we don’t have to pack so much. But it’s become more frequent as in today we didn’t buy we were going to purchase from the full price regular area. At 2:55pm a full hour before closing we shop end the regular then went don’t roll discounted area. The older clerk rushed there and turned off the lights and put a rack saying closed. Didn’t acknowledge us entering or even say a word as sorry were closing, take a couple of minutes nothing!!!!!! And she should recognize us. As we walked back we said to the other more middle aged clerk oh your closing, she responded no in an hour, well cant we go back in discounts. No, to much to do when we close at 4 which was an hour away. No one in the store but us, and really it’s that simple rush and turn off lights and but a rack out with a sign closed!! I guess you don’t want our sales so we didn’t buy what we intended to buy. It’s obvious your older clerks don’t like people, we’ve heard it from many in the store in the past. Observed many rude treatments to others that walked out, we are not thin skinned. We are business people Ourselves. It’s obvious this is the business model, you today you frankly didn’t want our money because a 4 they said they wanted to immediately leave!!! That’s was in an hour, pretty slow no one was In the store. Rude by closing an area as we were attempting to shop in, not a word, we said hello when we walked In and clerks just starred at us saying nothing, how about how can we help you to expedite your needs!, and didn’t care a bit we didn’t buy what we were going to buy. Had enough of this place, don’t need it, will just buy in the cities and bring it up. We honestly seen Some poor device at your business over the 28 years but today’s experience was off the charts. Good luck,...
Read moreAfter reviewing my online bank transactions, I was not happy to find that I had been charged an extra 3% because I paid by my bank card! My receipt was stapled such that the real sale amount showed on top, but cleverly hidden underneath was another receipt for the higher amount. According to MN state law statue 325G.051 SURCHARGES ON CREDIT CARDS. §Subdivision 1.Limitation; prohibition. (a) A seller of goods or services may impose a surcharge on a purchaser who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check, or similar means, provided (1) the seller informs the purchaser of the surcharge both orally at the time of sale AND by a sign conspicuously posted on the seller's premises.. At no time was I verbally notified when checking out that they were going to be charging me 3% more, no did I see any sign saying that. This is violation of the law, and Lundrigans needs to be...
Read moreI live in Washington state once a year the end of August I visit my sister and family who lives in Minneapolis. For years now we go to Nisswa and rent a cabin on a lake. The first time I walked into Lundrigans, my sister said the heavens opened up and the angels started singing. Since that first time I do all my fall and winter clothes buying there. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable ladies who make it fun to shop. One of the ladies, I think her name is Kathy, sorry if I’m wrong, shares the same birthday date as mine. Can’t wait till...
