I was in town for a day or two looking for someplace fun to go. I ended up here and really enjoyed it. I walked in to the owners and their staff welcoming me in. They were all awesome. Everyone was friendly and everyone was excited to get to know more about me. There was no way that I was walking out without buying something just to contribute to this awesome experience. That being said it was worth walking in to find bottles that I couldnât get anywhere else. I walked out with a 130 proof whiskey it tasted so good. It made me wanna punch myself in the face. I will have to come back and try some of their other whiskeys as well because it was just such an enjoyable experience. The venue itself can also be reserved for tastings and small parties. Who wouldnât want to be surrounded by whiskey, cask, and saddle up to the bar For a small party? That being said if youâre having a small party there and you need an extra guest, please invite me. Iâd be happy to sit the room and have a drink with you. Thank you all for an awesome experience. I will return until the details of my exciting...

I took a tour and learned so much about local distilling history, Old Fourthâs roots and how their products are made, and got to try some samples of their products. All of that was $15⌠definitely worth it if you have the time (even if you donât care for spirits, itâs fun!). The bartender/tour guide also shared some of their favorite local places, and it was awesome to hear support for other places in the community.
I also ordered a cocktail and it was fantastic. People who were there at the same time as me were raving about their cocktails, too. I took some bottles home with me and they were a great value for the quality of the product.
Give Old Fourth a visit if youâre in the area! Itâs not too too far from other points of interest like breweries, the beltline trail,...
Read more(Weekend visitors from Central Florida checking in) You canât taste Old 4thâs products without signing up for the tour ($5) but there was a package deal⌠$20 FOR A TOUR AND A BOTTLE. Our tour pretty much began as we waited in the DARK-WOODED, VINTAGE LOBBY where every section has historic connections to the community. (Check out the âsecretâ of the bookcase) The tour itself was straight-forward. Our TOUR LADY WAS INFORMATIVE and guided us in what to expect during the tasting. My only gripe was a male staffer was checking his phone while blatantly leaning against a vat next to the guide as she spoke. At the TASTING AFTERWARDS, my more alcohol-knowledged friends decided the VODKA WAS JUST âOKAYââtasted very âsoftâ and ânew.â We also tried gin and a...
