But what truly made my experience exceptional was our server, Hai. From the moment he approached our table, his friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made us feel right at home. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, Hai was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. His passion for the restaurant and its offerings was evident, and it made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Went here with my family as we usually do for lunch.

The food is always delicious but the service went down hill over the years.

We asked our waitress for fish sauce because our table had none.. and then she proceeded to ask “Why?” We were so hysterically confused. lol What do you mean why? idk i was planning to shower in fish sauce ma’am..?????? I asked her for more soup in our canh chua and she asked me “Did it not come with soup? because i’m going to have to charge you for another bowl.” At this point i felt as if she hated being there and didn’t want to even service us. We agreed on paying for more soup/broth and she brought us tiny little bowl of it.. 💀 After lunch was over, we had left overs. So i asked for a togo box to pack up. She asked me “what are you planning to togo?” Everything ma’am. Everything. If the entire restaurant will fit in a togo box i’ll pack it. WHAT??? lol

Alright.. lol we accepted our fate and didn’t say anything. Maybe she was having a rough day.

But this is where it got so funny. We asked for our check and my husband paid on his card. We she brought his card back and the receipt to sign she stood over him to make sure he was tipping. I told him I was going to tip in cash so just put “zero” on the tip line. I gave $20 cash for our 97$ meal. She took the receipt and examined it in front of us and asked “why we didn’t tip” huhhhhh excuse me..? lol I told her i tipped in cash. and she stormed away.

That was it for us. We’re probably not going back for a long time. Maybe we’ll ask for a different waiter/waitress if we do. Such an upsetting experience for a restaurant i loved since i...

Nam Phuong always the best Vietnamese spot in Georgia.

I’m original from Florida, however, since I moved to US when I was little, my parents and almost all of my families and cousins whenever we travel to Georgia, we always pick Nam Phuong as our favorite dining spot.

Even though, Norcross is the place where they have so many Vietnamese restaurants. However, after some tries at other Vietnamese restaurants.

We always agree that Nam Phuong always stay at top 1 spot for us. That’s why after some tries before, we done on trying other places and coming back to Nam Phuong until now. It been 13 years since I moved to US, Nam Phuong always the spot we pick as first choice.

My favorite is always Bun Bo Hue, until now every single time when I’m there either dining or take out, my choice always Bun Bo Hue.

Currently I permanently moved to Georgia, that’s why whenever my family go to Hong Kong market to grocery, we always dine in or even if we busy we still order to go at Nam Phuong before we back home.

I hope Nam Phuong always stay strong and always stay the best as they should be and never change.

Also, the most touched me is when last year, when I heard Nam Phuong even didn’t charge for any Vietnamese from Florida who moved to Georgia due to the hurricane.

After heard that my family really have a huge respect for Nam Phuong. My family said “đồng hương giúp đồng hương trong cơn bão” i even said that’s why Nam Phuong never go down after many years in Vietnam community in Georgia.

Always thank you for all people who worked hard at Nam Phuong and I hope you all always stay the best Vietnamese...
