This is more a review of the patrons as opposed to the park itself as my pet is unable to use the facility as there is a requirement to be "fixed".

I'd like to preface this by saying I think the dog park is a great idea. I do, however, believe that some of the patrons are taking advantage of your generosity.

My first comment is that there is often pet waste left in the adjoining area. I have personally seen patrons have their pets relieve themselves and just walk away even thought you have provided waste bags and receptacles. Is there anything you could do to help this? I have even noticed that the city ordinance sign has been defaced. Why would someone do this?

My next comment has to do with patrons parking in the neighboring parking lot even thought there are HUGE signs stating otherwise. As a local resident, I feel like this is very disrespectful to the residents who actually pay (in addition to rent) to park in this lot. Not only do they parked in the blank spots but some have the audacity to park in numbered spots (which cost extra) and in the visitors parking spaces. Is there any way you could communicate to patrons that this in not acceptable and that they are subject to being towed? Another thing I have noticed is that the far parking lot entrance (although there is an arrow and is clearly marked as "EXIT ONLY" is used as an entrance/turnaround that could present a dangerous situation.

Lastly, the sign states "open from dawn to dusk" however there are often patrons in the park past dusk. This presents a dangerous situation as there are no lights and there is no telling who or what is lurking behind your gates. Would you consider locking your gates at the end of the day?

One final note (and this is just a suggestion) however there may need to be a consideration to add a stop sign exiting the PETA parking lot. Many of the employees come out at a high speed and it is often dangerous making the turn out of the community onto front street.

In summary, I appreciate what you do and what you are providing for the community however it is some of your patrons that are giving the area a bad name. Thank you...

Well, i got attacked today, 3.25 around 7 pm. We were walking on the opposite side of the park when a cream colored tall dog walked up to us and started barking. His eyes lookes territorial.. the owner called him, but the dog ignored her. So she walked up to her aggressive barking dog who refuses to go near her. With my small dog in my arms and still being polite, I asked her if her dog didn't like small dogs (mine is a cream maltipoo). Well, what comes out from her mouth truly baffles me. She said her dog doesn't like other humans. This got me scared because the dog won't stop barking at us and kept following. And what are they doing there if their dog hates humans? With our backs hunched and the mad dog behind us, her hubby comes close to us to correct them. I could hear the lady saying, "We'll, she's scared!" And so the dog was mad. I couldn't believe that she didn't get the whole thing. Her out of control dog was being aggressive at us. Then, they had the nerve to tell me to leave or move to another cage. I said i won't, so they ended up leaving furiosly. The rule states in any dog park that aggressive dogs must be removed. This happened today between 6:40 and 7:20 on 3.25.25. The owners speaking, thick accents appear to be a young Asian couple. The girl wearing all...

Went there, because it said DOG PARK. It was closed " due to geese being in the park" I didn't know it was a Geese park. The sign said dog park. Really weird vibe there, people were tying themselves up to trees and chanting and burning sage. They were all grabbing clumps of grass and shoveling it in their mouths while chanting "meat is murder". Several people were dressed up as " furries". There were signs up that said if you still had your balls you could not enter, not sure if that meant humans or dogs. I saw some males there but I'm guessing they were Eunuchs. There were a few rainbow flags hanging along the fence, as I walked by a Man/woman 🧔‍♀️not sure which asked me if I wanted a free book. I said sure, thank you. I looked at the book and it had little children dressed provicatively with captions about "are you a minor attracted person". I was disgusted and as I turned away to leave I saw the big sign next door that said PETA. Then all the weirdness started making sense. Definetily would not reccomend this park to out of towners looking for a...

The dog park was quaint, clean with beautiful views. It was also FREE! No membership required. There are two sections, One for big dogs and one for the smaller ones. My dog is a 4lb Yorkie poo and she had a blast in the section for little dogs. She ran around with a 13lb dog and ran around sniffing all the smells and hopping through the grass like a gazell ☺️. There is even a small pool with a nearby hose for those hot days where the want to cool off with a nice dip. There are also stone benches on both sides of the gated park but we brought own lawn chairs just in case. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to let our dog run free untethered in a clean safe space. Definitely going back now that the weather is letting up off the heat bit. A hidden gem for sure 😃

This is a nice park. 2 areas: one is fully fenced, with a mini pool and water dishes with hose access. The second is partially fenced, has a mini pool and water dishes. Both areas have a hose to fill pool/ dishes. In the large area, the fence prevents dogs getting into street/road etc. the unfenced part is a ledge that is right on the water. There is a ramp for water access, and a mini island with dog ramps so pups can climb around. It looks as though there is a small patio for humans to enjoy watching their water pups swim. In the smaller fenced area there is limited shade for humans, but plenty of shade for pups under trees.

The big dog park is closed because of the geese except there are no geese. I was there with my large dog almost everyday this last week and I may have seen a single goose once, its extremely infuriating to have my dog play in a dirt patch with a dangerous pole right in the middle of it when the large dog park is being kept closed due to imaginary geese. Photo taken today no geese in sight
