The nail tech was rude from the start. Once I told her I had gel on my nails and she started filing the gel off my nails she was aggressive. When she was cleaning my cuticles she was aggressive as well. She did my regular nail polish and walked me the dryer and she left. Never mentioned how long I should be there. After 5-10 mins I checked my nails and there were bubbles. I don't usually do manicures so I asked the lady next to me if that was normal and she said no. She asked if my nail tech used a quick dry drop on my nails and I said no. The other customer called another nail tech and the nail tech looked at my nails and called the tech that assisted me. The technician came and brought me back to her chair. I asked if she knew what would cause bubbles in my nail polish and she said no. That's fine because I didn't expect her to have a definitive answer. She removed the nail polish and I told her to just do a top coat/clear coat. She put nail protein coat I believe which is fine. She then continued to badger me about the gel from earlier and how when they booked the appointment it wasn't booked with enough time to include the gel removal. I told her that when I made the appointment the receptionist did mention gel removal when I told them I had gel on my nails. She then said well they're not gonna charge for that it's just a classic manicure that they're gonna charge for. Let me tell you something, I go to Changes City Spa often for my hair cuts and color. Money is NOT an issue and the fact that the nail tech mentioned that they were not charging for gel removal feels backhanded. She was condescending when she said that as if I should be thankful that they aren't charging, just because she has to re do my nails. Almost as if they are doing me a favor. Terrible service from that technician. I will never request any other services other than a service from a hair stylist. It's the fact that the technician was rude, disrespectful, and did a terrible job with my nails, and was aggressive. Distasteful experience and it's upsetting. I really wanted to say more to the technician but I like city spa so I bit my tongue. If management sees this I hope they reach out to me so I can address this issue once more. Very...

Read moreWell... I’m pretty disappointed. I called to schedule an hour long pedicure. When I arrived the salon was busy and everyone appeared friendly. It was very cold in the pedicure area (offering blankets or a hot towel would be a nice touch for the spa). It was loud didn’t have the quiet spa feel I was expecting it to have. After the pedicure service I paid at register and the young lady was very sweet. She handed me a small gift bag with coupons, samples, and a Hershey’s kiss (very cute touch). I paid $90 and tipped $5. When I walked out I noticed bubbles within the big toe gel polish. I walked in asked for it to be fixed. They sat me down and “fixed” the big toe gel polish. She asked if it looked ok. I said yes... because it did. When I got to my hotel I noticed it was bubbling again and it was sticky/slimy. It looks horrible worst $95 I’ve spent on a pedicure. I’m disappointed and now I’m looking for a different salon to fix this before I fly out Friday... not to mention I need a fill and would have gone back there today to get it done if they would’ve done a better job. ...
