Hancock Stadium — Attraction in Normal

Leni and the crew at Hancock Stadium were great to work with! They helped us understand the steps along the way and held a great tasting event to try out some of the food options. We had several email exchanges and a final email to outline all of the important details and it paid off on the wedding day. We did a lot of our own setup the day prior at the venue, but did leave it up to the staff to make sure all of the candles and lights were lit up along with some other details. Leni coordinated with all of our vendors the week leading up to the wedding and worked with them to ensure everything arrived and was setup on time. They did such a beautiful and thorough job making sure that everything was as planned and did almost all of the take down for us- which was a huge stress relief at the end of the night. The food was good from Sodexo and they did a nice job as well. Setup of the tables and the buffet line was just as we expected. Price was very reasonable and we would highly recommend this...

We got tickets for the last game versus Youngstown State in the Heller Stores Touchdown Terrace which is located just a few feet behind the south end zone. The weather sucked and it was thanksgiving week so most of the students were gone. So the crowd was minimal. This is also the only place they sell alcohol in the stadium. They said it was $5 for 16 ounce drafts but when we got there they said because of such low ticket sales they were no going to bring out the tapper unit so instead they just poured 12 oz bottle in cups at the same price, so we were already getting ripped of. With this being said I can see how this place would be awesome in fair weather with a lively crowd and I will be getting tickets in this section earlier in the year. ...

In 2023 visited for East St Louis vs Mount Carmel, U-High vs Urbana and day one & two of the state championship games in 2023 & 2024. Outside of the 10 min walk from the parking lot uphill to the stadium. It was a very good experience with quick and easy ticket buying and security checkpoints. Concessions were in the middle passage, worked very quickly and effectively. During state the row attendants were very helpful in directing to the correct side per school. If attending for a ISU game the home sidelines have traditional seats while visiting is more bleacher seats with limited leg room space. Excellent place for the state...
