The Bird Nest — Local services in Normal

Walked in to take a quick look around. I was drawn in by the sale sign on the window. There was one man standing behind the counter working with another customer. After looking around at the racks, I went to leave. At this point, the man welcomed me to the store. He jokingly told me I couldn't leave without knowing the sales. I responded with, "The signs are pretty clear what they are." Then, he pitched the sales. At this point, it was a typical customer service experience, albeit a little aggressive. When I said I was just looking and comparing prices, he said something to the nature of, "Well, I'll be seeing you again because I know we're the cheapest place around." While it may just be his personality, his tone and phrasing made me feel like he was not happy that I was leaving without purchasing something. His word choice came across as arrogant, and I did not feel welcome in the store. They sell a lot of Gildan which is a good brand, and their pricing seems fair. Unfortunately, I was so put off by his arrogant and aggressive customer service that I will not be coming back to give my business. I'd rather pay $14.99 for a t-shirt at a store that lets me look around without feeling confronted than feel uncomfortable in a store that has...

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Bird Nest! I needed a brand new logo added to a couple of t-shirts and tote bags within a few days for an upcoming photoshoot earlier this summer. The Bird Nest was recommended to me by another local printing company that was unavailable to help me that quickly that week.

I contacted Fonzell then stopped by the store to show him what I was hoping for and he took great care of me! His communication was great and he overdelivered -- he was able to get the items ready for me 2 days before my already fast deadline! I love the way everything turned out and I had it when I needed it! I will definitely be utilizing The Bird Nest in the future!
