This is a must stop for my husband when we go back to his hometown. We go back multiple times in our visit. There are seasonal flavors and flavors commer ial places for boba just don't do. (I appreciate that there are things that truly are fusion in this, there are traditional boba drinks--ie taro, milk teas, matcha, etc--but also flavors that are more western culture--ie grape, [seriously I didn't think grape was western until I looked for it on boba menus] candy cane, pumpkin, coffee, etc). You also don't have to get boba style drinks, there are more traditional coffee shop drinks there too. We would love this place to franchise. Even if it wasn't closer to us we would be cheering them on.
Also I am picky, I don't like texture in my drink so I don't order texture, the drinks stand on their own! Every other boba place we've gone to kind of rely on the boba or other textures in the drink to do the heavy lifting. These aren't too sweet, they aren't ready to punch with weird aftertaste. Read moreOK OK, so read the below message with a little perspective. I just saw a guy compare Fusion Brew to Starbux. To be fair, Fusion Brew is 1000 times better than Starbux. Doesn't mean I love the place, but I've got a heart.
OK, so this is going to be confusing.

You'll fit right in if you're female and your parents own a Lexus. If you get pumped about bobas, cool, come here. If you like adding flavors to your coffee, rad, you'll flip your lid for sure. If a coffee shop with apples to apples tucked away on a shelf in the corner turns you on, then bam, this is your place.
I just find Fusion Brew...

This will be the predominant majority of the demographic coming into Fusion Brew. When U of I, of Champaign, will have stores like these on every corner, this is the one of a kind for ISU students. Bubble Teas to Brownies, this is quite an extravagant and less corporate-esque upgrade from Starbucks.
The hospitality of this coffee shop is unique. Everyone will be comfortable whether they are watching a movie on a plush couch to playing a generously provided game of Stretego at a table with a group of friends at a table.
This is quite a unique offering of business within the ISU territory. Your caffeinated beverage, however obscure or normal, will be served with a unique taste of potential that you'll more than likely be interested in revisiting for the rest of your...
