Very clean Facility and the Customer Service is Superb! Unlike other Extra Space locations, this one seems to be very accommodating and they do care about keeping it safe and secured. Looking forward to renting from them.

But I feel like the wool Was pulled over my eyes for when I had signed up for the unit I was told that at any point before a rate increase hits the account I can pay in advance for # of months to lock in the price at the time I rented. Called (8/07) before my renewal date which is the 11th of each month to pay in advance just because I was told to do so at any moment , that’s when I was told that my rate will be increasing -by 80% in addition -on 9/11. Mind you that is more than a month away and NOT effective for the current month. Corporate AND local management says I will have to pay the increased rate if I want to pay for the 10 months in advance to HOLD MY CURRENT RATE???. Was told it’s not verbatim in the contract but any POSSIBLE increases in the future will be calculated when you pay in Advance. So either that’s bad practice, or a lie, or just a runaround . Read moreMy consistent issue with Extra Storage is you all change your rates within 6 to 9 months renting a unit. The fact that you can’t get a contract for 12 months at your sign on rate is egregious. You get your customers in for a good rate and then you jack up the price twice as much within six months to nine months and expect people to stay there. It’s very devious and egregious.
You should do better! And if you did better, you would have clients that would stay with you for a long time. If you are able to sign a 12 month contract and then negotiate a 10% increase with your clients, that would be doable. But to lock us in for the first few months at a decent rate and then literally charge us twice as much is absurd and bad business.
