We stopped here on impulse while driving through Wickford, and are so glad we did! The grounds and views are lovely, but the house itself is truly a gem of Rhode Island history. Our docents, Lynn & Amy, were so friendly and knowledgeable - not only did I feel like I learned alot during my visit, but I also felt like a made a couple of new friends! Hi! I was not happy at ALL! There were no strawberries. It was a waste! The lady told us to wait for 45 minutes to get strawberry shortcake. It was the most busiest time and we said screw it. The advertisement had nothing to do with what actually happened. They made us pay $20 for NOTHING! And they charged us another $5 for the food which we didn’t eat but still!
