Progressive Eyecare - North Las Vegas — Attraction in North Las Vegas

I have been going to Progressive Eyecare located inside of/next to this North Las Vegas Lenscrafters for the past 3-4 years or so and have always been extremely pleased with the overall process of how my annual eye exams have been conducted. My latest visit was just yesterday, 06/01/2017.

From the prescreening exams performed by the optometry technicians on the latest, state-of-the-art optical equipment (an advantage of going to a Lenscrafter’s for an eye exam - deep pockets for the most up-to-date technology!) to the actual eye examination itself performed by the incomparable Dr. Kant Ng – the Philosopher King of Optometry – everything is truly first rate.

If you’re not inclined to discuss the finer points of Immanuel Kant’s “Critique of Pure Reason” with the good doctor, then more mundane matters will also do nicely. He has invariably been in a good mood, a cheerful person by nature, whenever I have encountered him.

The examinations he performs are detailed and never rushed; eye dilation and a thorough evaluation of the inside of the eye (optic nerve, retina, macula, etc.) are always included. Most importantly, Dr. Ng always takes the time to answer any and all questions or concerns that may arise and mixes all information provided with a good sense of humor.

Over the many years that I have been having my eyes examined, Dr. Kant Ng has proven to be my favorite O.D. so far and I plan on regularly visiting his practice on an annual basis for many...

My appointment was at 9:30 in the morning. I get there, sign the agreement paper and have a seat. Two people after me came and gone. I finally go around to do the first part of the eye exam. I had to go back and have a seat because the rooms were full. This is about 10:15am. More people are coming in and leaving. Around 11am I get up and asked the lady at the counter, when will I be seen? The lady ask me my name and I told her. The lady behind her states with an attitude that she called me 3 times and I must of been outside. I told that lady that I have been sitting by the entrance the whole time and you never not once called my name or got out that seat. After all the confusion, to find out that two people with the same last name Baker and the other Baker went for me under my name. They had to fix the errors and I had to wait. I didn't leave there until 12:15 Wasted my time and now I have to reschedule my surgery because of it. 3 hours to get my eyes checked and I have to spend money for glasses when they dont respect our time. Next year I will be going...

I had a Very Nice Visit. I was a walk in and they added me on the schedule. I did not even have to wait long.The Staff was Kind and Pleasant. The Dr was Extremely Kind, Caring, and made sure I was Comfortable after I had told the staff my previous Dr exam at a different Eye Care office was a horrible exam. All the Exams with the machines went well and the Staff and Dr always told me what was going on or happening. Everything went easy and no complications. The Dr Exam was Very Thorough and made me feel very at ease and relaxed. He asked several questions and made sure I understand everything regarding my eye care. He went over with me the New Changes to my Eyes. He was Very Considerate and answered any question I had. He took plenty of time with me. I never felt rushed or hurried or I was an inconvienent to there schedule. I appreciate the Dr and Staff taking time to see me and making my Exam A Nice Experience. My last Check Up was 5 yrs ago and now after this Exam I will be having my Exams every year..Thank You Kindly for adding me that day and I can not wait to pick...
