Shake Shack Craig Road — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I love Shake Shack after finding out it wasn’t just a basic burger place but a gourmet burger joint with vegetarian options and tasty food. My first experience there was amazing. I ordered the veggie burger. It tasted so good I wanted to go back! My second experience was far from it. I’m writing this review because an employee stood out and really shined after I had an issue with my food on my second visit. I wanted to thank her. Not sure if I’m spelling her name right but it was the manager named Brittany. Here’s the incident: I have sensory issues with food needing to be a certain temperature ( I can’t eat room temp food it makes me gag.) and after I ordered food for my kids they asked me to pull around to front because I guess the nuggets take longer than burgers. I explained that I’d pull around but how important it was that my veggie burger was hot even if the other food was only warm the most important item was the veggie burger. The girl at the window snuffed like she was agitated and said ok but wasn’t listening to me. When they finally brought the food out Of course the only thing that came out not pipping hot was my veggie burger! It wasn’t only NOT a HOT mess it was a COLD disaster. I circled around to return it (not happy to look like a disgruntled Karen) but I couldn’t eat the veggie burger it was gross. I told the same girl the problem so she got the manager. Brittany came to the window and at first I thought oh geez now they’ll think I’m trying to get free food or something but I told her I’m not making this up please feel the burger it’s COLD so she entertained my request and touched it acknowledging my concern and agreed that it was cold. She was so accommodating and kind she even went to my car to let me know she was personally making sure I’d get a HOT veggie burger and she kept her word. People like this wonderful manager stick in my mind and really make a difference in a business. She had empathy and concern for my satisfaction of her establishment and made sure to turn the wrong into right sending me home with a face full of steaming hot veggie burger and a messy smile on my face. “Relax Karen” I giggled to myself as I scarfed down the tasty food! I told the person who brought it out to my car to let Brittany know to watch out for this review because I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. She kept her cool, noticed I was a busy hangry mom with kids in the car and had such a kind demeanor that it made the experience take a complete turnaround. She aimed to please and succeeded. Only because of Brittany I’ll give Shake Shack a third try. I recommend full heartedly checking out this place. They have portobello veggie burgers quinoa veggie burgers and lots of great selections for any palate. I haven’t even tried the shakes yet, but my little nuggets loved the chicky nuggets too! Came back here today because they got my order wrong from last night but the manager at this branch gave me hell and did not want to help in any way to fix things..instead he argued that he could not do anything for me. I even told him i will pay for the difference of what was given to me which was a double cheese burger instead of what i ordered which was a black truffle double burger…the manager argued that i shouldve came back last night when i noticed that what i got was wrong. I told him i called several times and even left a voicemessage since no one picked up my phone call and that i was already going out of my way having to come back there again today. I came in today with a pleasant mood but this manager just liked to argue and did not want to help me and instead made me argue with him for half an hour which made me lose my temper…i come here a lot and usually had no problem until today…definitely not coming back here anymore until that manager is there..besides there are other burger place around this area such as freddys, habit burger, mcdonalds, burger king..just to name a few…i have been coming here and spending about $80 dollars each time because i have a big family ..but that will not be the case anymore. Even the other people that was dining there told me that they will never going back there again after how the manager treated me. I was not trying to get free food…i just wanted to get what i ordered and paid for the night before..this...

Well... we had heard so many good things about this place! Everyone was so excited to have one on our side of town... So of course you know I had to try it. What the hell people?? Are your taste buds broken? This place is NOT worth the hype. The burgers were "ok" at best. The krinkle fries (which I usually love) were under cooked and hard in the middle. The additional 50 cents for a tiny sprinkle of Korean seasoning on top was a joke... These should have been fully tossed in seasoning so the fries under the top few would also have flavour. The hot dog that I paid an extra 99 cents for cheese sauce was also ridiculous. When they place the dog in the bag standing on end so when I open it all the sauce has dribbled off the dog! Not to mention I expected my dog to be hot as they made up park out front and wait as the girl at the window said my dog wasn't done. Why was the center inside the dog cold???Maybe it's just lack of common sense & training but that should have been obvious. The chick'n bites were not something we could. eat. It tasted like the oil they were cooked in was dirty & old... so the flavour was unpalatable. I will say the oreo shake was ok... lacked a bit of flavour but did have cookie peices...All in all we'll never recommend this place & we won't be returning.
