This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in my entire life.
So we walk in, it’s empty. My friend says “I have a bad feeling about this place” I say “just bc it’s empty at 3:00 on a Saturday doesn’t mean it’ll be bad” I guess I was very wrong and she was very right.
So we sit down, look at the menu, I ask for a chocolate milk, they say they don’t have that, I say “ok regular milk is fine” she says they don’t have that either. I ask, “why is it on your menu if you don’t have it?” She says “I’ll double check. She came back, says they don’t have it. Fine. I order a lemonade. She brings our drinks and chips. Forgets our straws. No salt on the table. Half our chips and drinks were gone before I could ask for either and order the rest of our food.
We order food, she brings it, literally the worse Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. The rice was unevenly cooked, the red sauce was disgusting, my friend didn’t like the white sauce on her taco either and couldn’t eat it.
She checked on us ONCE, never asked if we wanted boxes (probably bc literally nobody ever wants to bring their food home I’m guessing) we paid for the food and left. In the car we realize she charged us for a margarita on top of everything else we ordered! I go back in, she fixed the charge, and when the screen came up to leave a review she rips it out of my hand and reviews our service herself!!! She ran away so fast after doing that, I couldn’t even say anything. So I decided to leave a review here instead.
At least the experience made for an interesting story. Terrible terrible terrible...
Read moreWent with a party of four tonight, and it was a lovely experience. It is a bit tricky to find, it’s on Revere, not Craig, so coming in the West side of the shopping mall is the best way to find the place. It’s right next to the Surfer Bar & Grill. Plenty of parking, but just a little hard to find. Totally worth the effort though
Now for the food… we ordered from an extremely friendly man that promptly brought our drinks & our food. The service was swift & most pleasant. We ordered shrimp enchiladas, fish tacos, shrimp quesadillas & shrimp rancheros. All well prepared, beautiful on the plate & wonderful in the mouth. We didn’t order alcoholic beverages since it was more of a very late lunch for us, but there were free refills on the coffee, tea & soda. Extremely accommodating to several of our special requests. Forgot my phone at home (which Never happens) or I would have posted some pictures. The servings are quite big & we got doggy bags for most of us.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Much bigger on the inside then it appears, so bring all your friends. We will be back again, & with more...
Read moreLet me first start of saying the food was good and I would have given it 5 stars.....if it wasn't for almost biting into a rock that was hidden in my food. Yes I said a ROCK. I thank God I scooped a fork full of beans and rice so I didn't bite super hard since it didn't require it to be chewed as much but it still made my tooth feel a bit funny afterwards. Now although I wasn't too happy about the rock in my food, the reason I'm writing a review is because of the manager. Not only did she walk up to my table and say "that's a big rock" and laughed as If she made the funniest joke , she then proceeded to apologize and say that sometimes rocks can be found in beans when bought in bulk and get left behind in the cleaning process.... like I'm not at an establishment whose purpose it to feed people edible food, NOT food with disclaimers and rocks in it. Although the manager accommodated the bill, I wasn't happy with the interaction and her sense of humor when I could have broke my tooth on a...
