It's a great course with enough little blips to keep things interesting. The course gets 4 stars. We will likely come back. But that said, there are better courses in the area.

But, I also have to comment on the one worker. We arrived around 11:15 and according to google they close at midnight. We had to wait on her to check us in, and she was rude. She told us that "she was packing up and shutting it down at midnight. If we weren't done, too bad because she was done at midnight." The group in front of us told us she said the same thing - and they checked in at 11:05. And apparently they won't accept groups after 11:30 pm (I understand the idea here, but then the closing time should be advertised as such).

We made pretty good work of the course and would have been done in plenty of time, but we got held up by a few groups on the last 4 holes. Now, she didn't stick to her word and thankfully we were able to finish the course, but they resonated with me the entire course. She was also hovering and pacing as the clock got closer to midnight, watching the groups. It made it impossible to relax and enjoy because I was worried she would follow through on her words. The comments were really unnecessary- we finished by a few minutes after midnight, and again, it would have been earlier if they weren't backed up at the end...

Myrtle Beach has many mini-golf options and it is difficult to read all the reviews to choose just one to play. We stayed on North Myrtle Beach so we choose mini-golf near our hotel. These are the three we played: Professor Hacker's Dinosaur Adventure Golf and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf owned by same owner and Hawaiian Rumble.

Hawaiian Rumble bills itself as the "Rated the #1 Mini Golf course in the WORLD." Now that maybe some lofty advertisement for a dated course. Since I have not mini-golf all the courses in Myrtle Beach I don't really know how to rank it but I liked Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf better. Therefore in my humble opinion its not even #1 in North Myrtle Beach. All that said here is what I like about the course: I thought that the compact course had beautiful flowers and flora and I never saw a mini-golf course where you walked under a waterfalls. The only improvement the owners need to make is replacing the hole sign numbers - they are old and worn/broke and really take away from their beautiful course.

Even if this mini-course is over-hyped I would recommend it to others looking for something to do while vacationing in...

I searched you tube to find a good mini golf course. This came up as the best one In Myrtle beach . So I took my family there. When you go In the lobby does not have air conditioning which really sucked considering that it was 90 degrees outside. Would have been nice to go in and cool off after playing just saying. The course was pretty nice with all the water falls. It was also really nice there was one other person there with her child. So it was really nice not to have to wait to go In Or have to wait for other people to finish so you can take your turn and go to the next hole. I would definitely recommend this place. I thought it was a cool touch they had a couple of cages out front with birds. They do definitely need to update the lobby it looked like something out of the 70s or 80s. They could also have a bigger lobby that serves food and has video games maybe. They had a cooler with drinks and like two old video games pac man being one of them. My family really enjoyed it as well they also thought it was run down and a little expensive. But it is still a fun little time to spend...

Two disappointing things about this course: 1) half of it was shut down so there were only 18 playable holes. We had played only half of the previous course in order to make it here in time to play the whole thing. It would have been nice were that noted anywhere. 2) the volcano never explodes. It hisses and steams, but I guess I thought it was more of a show. One surprise thrill: a friendly course cat! This is a beautifully landscaped course that feels like a tropical paradise. The holes are challenging, especially the cave where you can get your ball stuck among the rocks. I will keep an ear out for notice that the other half is open. As it was, by the time we finished the first 18 it was getting dark, and we made it back in time for pizza delivery. Win-win.

This place is a little tough to rate. They advertise that they hold a national mini golf tournament there. While the place looks nice, and the volcano that shoots fire every 20 minutes or so is a nice touch, the golf holes seemed unimaginative, short, and a little boring. Probably suited more towards the 6-10 year old crowd. Not many curved greens, bank shot opportunities, holes where you choose one of 3 and it travels to another level, or obstacles here. Just a few hills, bumps, and light dogleg turns. If one was inclined to bring a real putter, it might be good practice for fast greens on a real course. I would recommend trying any of the other many mini golf courses along the beach, they were a lot more fun and had some more challenges.
