Mega Tsunami Surf Co. No. 11 — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

We bought $130 surfboard and not even a week later the foam started separating from the plastic part. I brought it back to exchange it since the $130 board we bought was defective and they refused to exchange it. When I asked if they refuse to stand behind the product that has their name on it she said “yes.” So go by there for tshirts and sunscreen but don’t invest in anything other than that because it’s trash and they won’t stand behind it. $130 is a lot of money and we considered it an investment, but the foam is literally about to crack apart. So disappointed in them as we’ve gone to this specific store for years and spent thousands of dollars between everyone in our family, just expected better customer service, especially a product with their name on it. Huge selection of items to purchase. However the lady running the cash register was very unfriendly. She was borderline rude. Didn't feel it necessary to answer questions asked of her for the most part and when she did they were short irritated one word answers. My mother purchased a cute dress there, (over priced in my opinion) but after paying attention to how she was treated during her checkout, I put my stuff down and left it there. I refuse to spend my money at an establishment that has employees who behave as though they are doing me (as a cash spending customer) a favor by taking my money. My fiancé bought $20 sunglasses from this store and as soon as we took them out of the bag, they had a split down one of the frames. He said it was fine and went to put them on the next day, but the frame snapped. We took them back for an exchange, but the first lady that held them snapped them in half “accidentally” and called another lady over and told her we brought them in like that. So they refused to give us an exchange and when we pointed out that they had broke them more than when we had brought them in, she started denying the glasses were even from the store even though they had a receipt.
