Wee-R-Sweetz — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

I visited this shop yesterday. When I walked in the guy that was working there looked at me but did not acknowledge me. I was in there just to see what varieties of chocolate they had, There was quite a bit. So after about 5 minutes the attendant did approach me and ask if he could help me. I ordered a 1/2 pound of Pecan pralines, a Turtle marshmallow treat and a 1/2 pound of peanut butter fudge. I found the fudge to be a bit expensive $18 a pound but I wanted it anyway. The attendant rang up my order it came to roughly $23. I took it and I left the store. I ate the marshmallow treat in the car it was delicious!!! I would recommend this this to everyone. I just won't be going back to get another. When I reached home I pull out my peanut butter fudge, I could almost see through it. So I thought to myself maybe he got me a quarter pound instead of a 1/2 pound. I looked at my receipt and I saw where I paid a little over $9, so I was charged for a 1/2 pound. I will post the pictures to show what I was given. I did not eat it because I wanted to weight it. I know covid has affected a lot of things, but I didn't know that it affected scales. I wish my bathroom scale weighed light like that! If it wasn't for me paying for something I did not get, I would recommend this place. Wow horrible customer service. We came here between 2-3 and was helped by an older woman with glasses and faded red hair. Nobody asked us if we needed help getting anything out of the case while we were looking and it was almost a nuisance for the older woman to get it for us time came. I got a caramel apple and after I paid, I realized I forgot to ask for my apple to be cut. I asked the same worker, "are y'all able to cut my apple for me?" She hesitated and rolled her eyes. In my head, I'm assuming that isn't something they must offer. She turned and with an obvious attitude said, "I wish I would have known that before I put it in a bag." I told her to forget about it even after she insisted she would do it. I am so disappointed in my experience at this location. There was no one else in the store except for us and she was putting a sticker on a box when I asked for her to cut my apple. I understand if the store was packed but I am so appalled at how she treated customers. If great customer service is what attracts you, be sure to skip...

Asked for 1/4 lb. ($4.50) of peanut butter chocolate fudge and the lady at the counter cut me a piece that was almost twice that. When I told her I only wanted 1/4 lb. she got an attitude with me because she had already rung it up and asked the other lady working to cut it because “she can never get it right.” The other lady cut me a piece that was exactly 1/4 lb. and apologized for her coworker’s behavior. Why could this lady get it perfect and other one couldn’t? If the smallest amount you can purchase is 1/4 lb., it should be pre-sliced to avoid error.
