Updated Review: Just received a response from the owner, screenshot is posted as a photo now. That said, BUYER BEWARE, please understand that the owner response is a direct reflection of the poor service and treatment our party had in the establishment that day. The rude behavior is obviously a top down standard of business for these folks. Never did we ask to be put first, never. Asking someone who works at an establishment to answer a question when she is at the register and NOT addressing any other customers at that moment, is not asking for an entitlement, it is literally in their job description. I find the owner's response unacceptable and full of blame that is so blatantly misplaced. Having been a past customer, it makes regret ever spending my hard earned money at a place that is not willing to take any responsibility for lack of decorum and professionalism. My honest review stands. We will never go back, avoid this place and it's rude service at all costs.
The lady running the tastings on Saturday was unprofessional and downright rude. We went to the end of the bar, out of the way. I could not remember if we had to pay before we tasted or not so I left my party and approached the register and asked her . She said, " Can't you see it's going to be a minute? " and I replied that I was just looking for some clarification on the process as I hadn't been in since the year before. She says in an extremely belittling tone, "well we drink first then we pay, that's how this works but like I said its going to be awhile so you'll have to wait! " So rude. There is no need to treat customers in such an offensive way. Last year we bought several bottles of wine and Christmas ornaments for our kids, this year we were spoken to with contempt and we will...
Read moreSuper rude older lady working a few weeks ago on a Friday when my friend and I went in. She had the nastiest attitude about us using their bathroom, which by the way was open and had no signage about it being closed to the public. After that, I didn't even want to sample the wine. She caused us to walk out and we will never return. We gladly took our business to Kentucky Mist! The staff there are very welcoming and friendly.
In response to your response... If you look at your cameras on 3/22, you'll see that I was looking at the menu offered as my friend was about to use the restroom. After your rude bartender accosted us, we expeditiously exited the business. I have enough to deal with without worrying about supporting a business with rude, unaccomaditing employees/managers. If I cannot browse your merchandise/use the restroom before having a seat at the bar, then I have no business there. I apologize if I offended you by using the restroom before having a seat at your bar. I hope other customers are more considerate of your rudeness, because you calling us out in front of other customers is nothing but rudeness. We had every intention of sampling your wine but will never be back because of...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went into the winery today with the intention of either doing a wine tasting as advertised on their sign outside or getting a wine slushee.
Every last one of the slushees that we tasted were so sweet and cough syrupy that we couldn’t even finish the samples. That is not why I’m writing a review though, some people like that kind of flavor profile.
I’m writing this review because we would have just ordered a glass of wine each since we didn’t like the slushees but the older man who was working behind the bar and “helping” us was explicitly ignoring my boyfriend. He would respond to me and get me the things I asked for but wouldn’t even acknowledge my boyfriend. I thought maybe he wasn’t hearing him the first couple of times but after ignoring him multiple times, directly in his face, it was clear that he was being intentional. We decided to leave without ordering anything because I didn’t want to order from somewhere that was essentially refusing service to my partner...
