Green Brook Gardens — Attraction in North Plainfield

Been here a short time and I’m ready to move. Too expensive. $250 yearly for pool and fitness room, like an HOA. You have to have insurance and they say you control your heat but it only goes to 74. Old cabinets, scratched up floors. If you’re on 1st floor you will suffer, floors are very squeaky and the people over me are very inconsiderate. They jump, they pound on floor and they have a baby that uses walker and jumpy thing. I told office how loud they are and I was told as long as it’s before 9 pm. Unacceptable!!! I take classes on Zoom and can’t focus. They will clean paths of for you to walk and drive, the other snow is pushed up on your car and you clean it. The man in the office seems nice, the lady is okay. I cannot wait until my lease is up to get out of here. If I had taken time to read reviews, I would never have come here. The woman Barbara is a snake, she pretends to be nice, but her true self is soon revealed. Brooke at headquarters is no better. I lived under monsters and they did nothing to helped me. I lived over 2 garages. They’re not about people just money. They penalize for everything. Everything. Regardless of good reviews, don’t go there, you will be sorry. I lived under monsters in a shelter because of them and they’re still trying to take from me. Beware of Barbara and Brooke. I didn’t have many dealings with Fabyn but his reviews aren’t good. The model apartment is not what you get, the apartments are old and the grounds, steps are patched up. Place is raggedy. I have been living in this complex with my family for several years, and I must express my deep frustration and disappointment with the way this property is managed. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most inconvenient and inconsiderate living experiences we've ever had. Despite paying significant rent and additional fees including for a private garage we have experienced repeated disrespect and disregard from both staff and management. Specifically, I have witnessed workers entering our garage without any prior notice or permission. This is a clear violation of our privacy and the terms we pay for. Even more concerning, I have a surveillance camera installed in the garage and have documented unauthorized entries. I also have a new vehicle stored there that has suffered damage, which I believe is a direct result of these unauthorized entries by your staff. This is completely unacceptable.especially bc I had to go out my way to fix it myself . It often feels like the management team is more interested in collecting payments than in providing a safe, respectful, and professionally run community. While communication may appear friendly on the surface, any serious issues seem to be ignored or dismissed especially when it involves clear boundary violations. We are extremely tired of these ongoing problems. If moving were a simple option, we would have left long ago. The team in the leasing office: Barbara, Josefina and Fabian were exceptional. I've had my fair experiences with renting in the past and they were not great, but that changed when I moved into Green Brook Gardens. Management were super helpful, very patient and understanding, incredibly nice people, and really go above and beyond to help their residents. I've never met a management team that truly care about their residents until I moved into Green Brook Gardens. Maintenance was great and they were timely when I needed something fixed. I can tell they care about keeping their complex clean and upkept. But I want to give a huge shout out to Barbara, the main person in the management team. She truly went out of her way to help me. If you get the chance to meet her and the team, I promise you won't be disappointed. As for the complex itself, I really have no complaints. If I could buy an apartment there I would and I'd be happy living there, but unfortunately I can't lol. If you're looking for an apartment to move in to, please keep Green Brook Gardens on 1275 Rock Ave at the top of your list.
