I work for a company that shops for and delivers orders to customers. I've shopped for Amazon a few times. The other day I had a order for them that came out to almost 1700$. This order contained 20 cases of pop and water, and other various cases of of food items. (To give you a better idea I shopped at BJ's Wholesale Club.) My car was so packed with stuff I couldn't see out of any windows but the driver side. I had bread and pastries on my lap and under my legs WHILE DRIVING to ensure they didn't get damaged as there was no place else to put them, and 1 hand holding a bag to keep it from pushing my gear shift in neutral, which it did twice while driving. (HOW UNSAFE!!!) When I arrived at Amazon as always I had to get out my car twice to move cones out the way that blocked the front lane before pulling to the door. When I got to the security window 2 guards looked at me but never came to the window. I waited about 5 minutes before I asked a worker going in the gate to ask someone to come to the window. A guard came to window didn't say anything just put her ear to the hole. I told her who I was and who I needed to come down, she said nothing and walked away. 15 minutes later I notified them via my phone. 5 minutes later I go back to the window again I'm looked at but no one comes until I ask a worker going in to ask them to come over. When the guard did come, he said we told them they'll be down when they come down your harassing my staff go outside" No one came down for about 30 minutes. It took another 15 minutes to get the items from my car. When the order was complete I received a $17.36 tip for shopping, lifting loading,WAITING and unloading $1700 worth of groceries. THAT'S 1%. How does that happen. I do my very best to provide 5 Star service to all my customers, not only did I get a 1% tip I received a poor service rating HOW!!!!! Company policy is to call 10 mins after arrival and leave after 15 minutes, I WAITED 30. This is the first time I've EVER RECEIVED A POOR RATING FROM ANYONE. However this is not the first time I've had the very same experience with this customer. They place large orders and give 1% or less tips. Last week I had a order for them in the amount of $700 and got the same service when I arrived and didn't get a tip at all!!! š¤šš...

Some have a few issues except this one I have more loads canceled than not coming out of this location doesnāt work. They say they have no staff can check us out and we get stuck in here. (trust me Iāve asked people inside shipping and receiving and they tell me plus the yard guy tells me have to wait for the camera, for three hours waiting to get out of here tonight reason Iām leaving this review because itās happened too many times) Thereās a few staff members that are awesome up here, So not sure why so many issues with this location only.
Amazon or site manager or whoever is in charge of this site if you read this, Iām only complaining because every other Amazon location when they have that issue one of their staff member starts checking trucks out, and other sites do have cancellations, but not as much as here for some reason Iām not sure if that can be helped, but at least the checkout process and the fact that I also have an issue where they donāt put seals on the trailers a lot and every other site has seals at the checkout gate here I end up several times canāt find anybody in shipping or receiving, and the yard guys say they donāt have any seals either. Itās not really cool having us hunt down a seal and this happens when the trailers are in a parking slip not at a dock door, which I think theyāre supposed to have a seal leaving the doctor? Not trying to be mean but Iām just asking please try to resolve some of these issues because other than that I have no issues and most the staff I met seems pretty nice and helpful, except the yard guys canāt help when they donāt have seals. And this is for sure the only site I know it doesnāt give their yard guys seals or at least someone at the exit.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreStanding on my feet for ten hours picking and stowing big and small items to pick in the correct bin. If it is not the correct bin it will light up red. Sometimes water spiders bring you good products to stow and sometimes they donāt it depends on who it is. They operations managers, process assistants need to learn how to talk to there fellow employees. A lot of times they bring you big boxes to stow and when you opened them it just be another big box inside to stow and that make your stow rate slow, but they donāt care about that because all they care about is numbers. They donāt understand that you donāt always have small stuff to stow. The small stuff help your stow rate goes up, also the fire people without giving them a warning or writing them up. They hired about 2000 people and maybe it is only 200 people in that building. They have a very high turn over rate. I wouldnāt tell my worst enemy...
