Woodbine Furniture — Attraction in North Richland Hills

The entire experience was uniformly positive.

This was our first time to buy "real furniture," and having been to several furniture stores, we could immediately tell the difference once we walked into Woodbine. The pieces looked great, the drawers all slid smoothly, and the build quality was solid. While quality was reflected in the prices, we found them comparable to other Amish stores we had been to (though at the time, the prices were better because of the sale they were having). Greg and Taylor were very knowledgeable about the different types of wood and furniture, and even though we changed our minds many times throughout the process, both in person and in e-mail, they were always patient, offering suggestions where appropriate. At no time did we feel pressured to buy anything.

We ended up furnishing three rooms (dining, living, and bedroom). Since everything was custom-built, it took about three months for everything to be completed, and it arrived exactly when they said it would. The delivery was seamless - quick, efficient, and thorough. They arrived on time, took care not to damage the furniture or the house, and even took the time to set up the shelves inside the entertainment center, place felt pads where necessary, and wiped off all the dust before they left. The furniture looks great, and was certainly worth the wait!

We placed our first order last weekend. I found Woodbine in my search for quality solid wood furniture. I'm tired of buying over priced compressed laminates that sag or chip the first year after purchasing, and these folks have the solution. The craftsmanship is reflected in the cost, but quality this high pays for itself when you consider the lifetime of such beautiful work. We were blessed to have been helped by Robin on both of our visits. She answered my plethora of questions and sent me home with a catalog to contemplate the EXTENSIVE number of wood, stain and finish options. There's no pressure or gimmicks, just great customer service from wonderful people. I can't wait to return when the budget allows and I will try to remember to update my review when our order arrives.

Update: Taylor and Sean delivered our order today. They were very professional and kind, arrived several minutes early, and left me with care advice.
