Towle Performing Arts Company — Attraction in North Township

Oh my, Let me count the ways! We are pretty much nubies to The Towle with a little more than 5 yrs attendance. What a smart decision to go to the " Fabulous 50s" show 5 yrs ago! What a great time we had reminiscing the old commercials and the beautiful renditions of the Carol's. We have not missed one yet. However,the "meat" of the Towle is the excellent selection of plays and using the great and talented actors in the Chicagoland area to bring them to life! Jeff Casey and Kevin Bellamy seem to have the "Midas Touch" when it comes to selecting " Good Theater" and present it in such a way that it appeals to all of us. This is a fabulous community theater. Great selection of plays, run by the most extraordinary and dedicated people, showcasing local talent, and keeping it affordable. They have 4 ahows per season, and 2 additional shows by their youth ensemble, plus a Christmas event. Celebrating their 15th year, they are having special events the 15th of each month. A different sort of theater. We were there because my spouse had a one-woman art exhibit in the lobby. That was fantastic and turned out to be a wonderful display of her art. It was also the opening evening for their first play of the season. They comp'ed tickets for us so we got to see the play, as well. Very nice venue for theater productions. Small and rather intimate yet comfortable. Note that the theater is on the second level, but they have an elevator if needed. All in all, a real gem in...
