Potato Express — Restaurant in North Township

I’ve purchased from this place on door dash 3 times always ordered the surf and turf potato this time I picked my food up but I just got the steak potato. The establishment wasn’t up to part but that wasn’t the bad part. The owners customer service was the worst I’ve ever had. When I called the order in I asked for the steak well done he told me the meat is precooked already that’s the first red flag. When I recieved my food the order was incorrect it didn’t have my jalapeños on it and the veggies were raw which I specifically asked for them to be cooked so I called him to let him kno and he instantly got defensive and was very rude.i was calm with him saying it’s not that serious i understand people make mistakes maybe the cook was rushing (even tho they had 0 customers in the place) he continues to be rude so I hung up on him because he didn’t want to listen he kept telling me he know what the cook gave me and a bunch of stuff I will never spend another dollar in this place ever again I wanted to support a black owned business as I’ve done in the past with this place but that man made me regret every dollar!!! Dnt spend ur money here!!!! Also had no flavor at all idk if they had a bad day or what but just him fixing the issue would have led to a better experience but he was so offended that I told him the food wasn’t right that he lost a customer and I even let others try it to make sure I wasn’t tripping both people said the veggies were not cooked as I stated and also had no flavor I spent $14 on a potatoe that I had to give away because I can’t eat raw veggies all this to say dnt waste ur money here the owner has horrible...

I was finally able to get off work early to come give Potato express a try. First off the customer service is AMAZING. I was greeted with a " Hello" and a smile.They were so friendly and helpful with my order. I purchased a Broccoli and cheese bake Potato ( for my Mom), Steak Nachos and Mac & cheese ( for my son). They both LOVED it especially the mac & cheese. I orderd a jerk chicken bake Potato for myself and was so excited to try but unfortunately I should of asked if it was spicy because "Wow" it was on FIRE .I don't know if it was just the patch because the other reviews noted " not that spicy". I gave it to my boyfriend who likes spicy food and he could only eat half because he also said " Wowza that's hot" I still gave 5 stars because I didn't ask if it was spicy. I will definitely be back to try more of their items. This is the last time I allow influencers to influence me. I do not understand the "hype" about the food from here. The potatoes are large (except for the seafood one) the food was not seasoned enough. It's basically a baked potato (unseasoned) with toppings on top. Food was so bland. When we got home, we found chopped onions on top of all our potatoes. This was not listed on the menu (description) online. In my family's opinion, it was not worth it! The concept is great, execution definitely needs major improvement.
