As a science nerd, science teacher and purchaser of amazing toys, kits, and all around fun stuff; this store is my first stop. The selection is spectacular. The staff are fun and capable.
I am disabled, and try not to make trips if I do not have to. Ironically, one of the reasons I love this shop is about not going there. If I am looking for a specific item, the staff make it easy to call ahead and check on that status of your quest. A2Z staff- unlike many other vendors- do not make you feel as if answering your questions is taking up their time. Rather, they go the extra mile to search- even if something isn't in stock that minute- perhaps it is coming this week, or next, and they check for you without prompting.
In this age of online shopping, the premier skill that sets defines an excellent brick and mortar store is customer service. That they are willing to be helpful to a potential customer who is not in the store- and may in fact go somewhere else- that is real service.
I called them today questing for an oddball item and the staff took the time to research and provide me with answers. The staff person was bright and kind. and as they do when one is in the store, let me know I was a valued...
Read moreFirst of all the store has the greatest things. It is full of cool, playful and fun toys, games and collectables. I have always gone to this store and have enjoyed my time there. My last experience was different though. When I walked in I went to the stuffed animals to look at them and a store employee was at my back 15 seconds into the store. "Can I help you with something?" I thought to myself, why is this employee talking to my back? Is she harassing me? We all know that all stores send out employees to make it known that they are watching you, don't steal! Well This never happened before here. I brushed it off as if maybe she was a little too hyper active. Well later I saw her going to other customers and doing the same thing. It feels very uncomfortable now going in there. I don't want to be hounded seconds through the door. A simple hello from the register is ok. Why would I need help, I literally walked through the door? So next time I will really consider going elsewhere where this doesn't happen. I don't wanna feel like I'm being watched...

So happy for the easy free parking which is rare in Northampton. The store is 2 levels and has so many unique finds. This trip my kids enjoyed finding the plush brain cells and spent all their money for the chance to gift these to friends - lol.
Besides novelty items, there are an array of Lego products that are only slightly above Lego Store prices, and I would much rather support a small business. There are also tons of games, including interactive strategy games that can be played in store with a friend. From stickers, to baby toys, to puzzles, plush, puppets, and books; this store really has whatever your child or you are interested in.
The staff are also very helpful and offered us to sign up for a free membership with a come back coupon which never expires, which is great because we are...
