Drove over a hour and half to come to this store as the stores back home didn't have what we were looking for. We walk into the store start to look at the merchandise and notice a piece of a bedroom set is structurally broken. Still interested in the rest of the set we press the customer service button, get a rep whose name unfortunately we were unable to get, and tell him a kid our interest in the set and our finding. His options we're would you be interested in the set without that piece or I can see if we can give you a discount. Our response was either or. We asked if we could speak to the manager and he said ok walked away and came back with "we can take off 50$." To put it in perspective we looked at another more expensive set, 1499 vs 1299 in a different locations and for scratches and dents. We explain the difference between the two situations and the associate rolls his eyes and upon request mutters he didn't ask the manager he asked the coordinator whom was too busy to meet and speak with us in any regard (Michelle). We asked him what happened to our request to speak to the manager and be said well Michelle does discounts too. We again explain to him the frustration and my son witnesses the associate roll his eyes. We are leaving at this point and hear that same associate mutter "they just wanted a discount." While true for an obviously structurally broken piece of furniture, the manner in which we were treated as unacceptable. Walking out my son tags behind and notices the coordinator mutter something along the same lines as the associate. The customer service aspect outside if Sherri the manager and greeters from our experience won't and didn't allow us to purchase or give any business to such. Food for thought...
Read moreJust left the store and a woman who told me she was currently the manager was completely rude! My husband and I went to buy a rug. I had to run to the restroom so I told him to take it to the car and come back so we could look at curtains. This woman followed my husband to the car and asked to see his receipt and then asked for him to open the trunk. I found it really weird so after my husband told me what happened I approached her and asked her why she did that. She said it was store policy to check receipts and merchandise. As she answered she never looked at me in the eyes and walked away from me as I was speaking to her. I completely understand the policy but the way she handle the situation was completely inappropriate. I also never saw her or any other employee check other customers receipts and merchandise as they were leaving. She should never make a paying customer feel uncomfortable ( or profiled) by following them in the parking lot. She didn’t even apologize. Poor customer service, she did a horrible job of representing the company. We will never return to this...
Read moreBought 2 lamps from this store that were on clearance for $15 each. Once brining them home and buying the light bulbs that I thought went with the lamps, they did not turn on. I then proceeded to buy three different types of light bulbs to see if it was a mistake I was making, but the lamps still did not work. Total waste of money. Be cautious when buying items on clearance, they obviously don’t check if they are selling defective items!
UPDATE: Unfortunately customer service was unhelpful. Called customer service and was told that since I don’t have a receipt or tag on them I’d have to bring them to the store I bought them from to even begin to inquire about a refund. I’m not looking for a refund in all honesty, it’s unacceptable to sell something that...
