This is a very nice building, but it has no curb appeal. From the outside it looks like a warehouse or apartment building. It needs an appearance that conveys what kind of stores are inside, and makes a passer-by want to come in and look around. Also, the inside is dimly lit and not at all dynamic. The building has a lot of potential, being on Main Street at the west end of the downtown complex, but I feel it will continue to languish without a major facelift. Perhaps a contest is needed for persons to submit ideas for dressing the place up. There was virtually no activity on this day--in fact, the bottom floor was literally deserted, save for a dance academy that was open. Among the things I noted while walking around were a broken escalator and some water spots and garbage in the bottom floor men's restroom.
