Pioneer Ace Hardware- Laie — Attraction in Oʻahu

First visit to an Ace hardware store in a long time. The store front is misleading the store is actually much much bigger inside.

The section that surprised me the most was the fishing tackle section. There was about 20 feet of wall space dedicated to fishing tackle. Not something you would expect to find in a hardware store.

The store contains merchandise in what is a mixture of hardware store, automotive store, fishing tackle store and supermarket.

I needed window screens rescreened and replaced, and Kirk helped out so much! He gave me a quote and held on to my windows so that I could reach out to my landlord to see if the price was okay. When I gave him the go-ahead, they were done the next day that he was at work! He had to do some more work on them than originally quoted for but honored the original quote. I will be going back for all screen repairs and replacements....

We love Ace because it is close to were we live and can always get something that we need right away. We don't have to wait for a weekend to shop at City Mill or Home Depot. The people here are also so accommodating usualky we don't need help because we know where everything is but sometimes we need advice with paint or gardening stuff, etc. We feel like family works at Ace Hardware and hope they'll always be...
