Just came from this nail salon 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Workers were rude and couldn’t even do a simple French tip set. I paid $100 and this is what they left me with. Every time I spoke up and said I didn’t like something or to fix it… I was called picky or they would talk amongst each other and be talking about me right in front of them. The lady that did my nails would tell her coworkers she picky, she unhappy, I don’t want to do. At a point she was ready to cut them all off after me sitting there for 2hrs with her over some French tips! & part of that is because she’s answering her phone, text messaging all while doing my set. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. This was suppose to be my birthday set and it’s not what I wanted. I even told her I haven’t done my nails in 2-3 years & she even proceeded to later on tell me while we was disagreeing “you come here all the time and you so picky, you act like you know how do you should do” I simply said I’ve never been here before and I don’t know how to do but what I do know is what I like as a paying customer.. and she still proceeded to be RUDE. MORAL OF THIS STORY , DO NOT GO HERE. Lady who did me had a lazy eye and short hair. Also had a mini heart tattoo on hand. Seriously THE WORST. Unfinished French tip nail set & my toes are all messed up. If you can’t do a simple French tip you should not be working as a nail tech, find a different occupation. Flaws: 1st picture: chipped big toe 1st picture: 4th toe is not a straight line 2nd picture: has paint on toes 2nd picture: black thing on my second toe on French tip part 3rd picture: shows unfinished set and wrong shape 4th picture: other hand (ring finger) has a black dot on top I RATE 0/5 STARTS i only put the 1 cause it would let me post...
Read moreSo, I went to Queen Nails, and the older male tech (I believe the owner) did a gel manicure and regular pedicure on me. Overall poor workmanship. Both the gel and regular polish was done poorly and painted over my cuticles. My nails and cuticles are pretty delicate. He told me to relax, but he was pretty rough. They started talking among themselves and I could make out an English word here and there. I swear they were talking about me...standing over and watching him work on my nails. Long story short, he cut into my cuticle and it started bleeding pretty hard...as if bleeding is not enough on its own. He apologized, and said come back in two weeks and he would remove the gel manicure for free and recommended I just do a regular manicure. In any case, I thought maybe the first visit was just a one off for him and went back for the removal of the gel. This time he cut into my pointer and middle finger cuticles, making them bleed. Then he proceeded to charge me for the removal of the gel when all was said and done. I hate to do this, but I cannot recommend him and I have no faith in the salon.
UPDATE: SO THE STORY GETS WORSE EVERY DAY. as my nails grow they are now breaking below the nail bed...probably due to the saw he used to file my nails. They were left jagged and rough, and I guess he felt that was fine , since he was...
Read moreFirst time trying this nail salon & I DID read the reviews beforehand. Each experience is a person's own & went in optimistic and the service I got was cool & the woman who worked on me was "great" personality wise(she did nic my toe with no acknowledgement of it - 2nd negative) & she did to quality work outside of that part, i have to give her that(which is the ONLY reason for the 5 stars)!. The 1st NEGATIVE was the channel the t.v. was on - for me personally, I just want to relax when receiving these services & tune the world out even just for a hour or so - I was not able to do so(didn'thave my headphones with me). The "political " news channel was on & I tried tuning it out, but was not able to. I don't want/need to spend my money nor my time on places that support "selective" politicians. Some may be able to not listen & not care, but I do. If a 1st time experience is not great at a business, i will try & go a 2nd time just to try & be fair &make sure that it may or may not be a fit for me. I am Uber aware of the state of this planet. I get Manicures & pedicures for RELAXATION & to cope with anxiety/stree and because of my job. This was not a fit "for me" unfortunately & that is o.k. Hope this helps anyone who "chooses" to...
